  • 98 was better than any of the crappy b-movie originals. Eat me.

  • @doltBmB

PHILISTINE! I shall make you feel my displeasure by giving your comment a negative vote

  • @Biochemitra D:

  • long lived the King of monsters!!!!!!!!!! 2012 can't wait

  • the 2014 one better have him laying eggs or getting killed by planes. and if they don't mess it up and its actually really good (for a Godzilla movie) the should make Godzilla vs. King Kong Vs. Gamera. the original one with Kong is probably my second fave next to the very first one.

  • @BmovieBen

Come on can they possibly do a worse representation of Godzilla then the 98 movie?Unless they have Barney get killed by tanks, though that does sound mildly entertaining.

the American Reboot will be good, The film is in good hands an under a respectable company bringing comic book characters to life, an Toho this time does have all the approvals unlike the last

So i expect the 2014 Reboot to be good

  • i raped the replay button.

  • GODZILLA IS THE BEST MOVIES EVER MADE IN MY OPIONION HOPE THEY MAKE A NEW ONE

  • I hear that legndary pictures is makeing a new proper godzilla movie. Also it won't be a fake one like the one with godzilla in Newyork.

  • @darkostarkeith It damn well better not be XD. That was pure, unadulterated shit & and insult to the franchise.

  • All hail the KING

  • mechagodzilla and king ghidorah were the best bad guys for godzilla aha they were constant and always came back

  • The 2 that disliked this, what the hell is wrong with you? What's not to like? Zilla step on your foot?

  • Nothing will ever beat the suitmation Godzilla. Even when CGI is at its finest, there's something special about the true live-action godzilla

  • Makes the hair on my neck stand up every time.

  • @qpboii2k9 i heard its being done by Legends or something along with warner bro's so i dear hope its not the same guy that did the crappy american one.

  • Don't call it a comeback! - See Godzilla's appearance at the MTV movie awards.

  • Son: Hey guess what

    Mom: what?

Son: Godzilla comes back in 2012!

    Mom: its only 2011

    Son: F-

    Mom: What?!

    Son: Fudge

  • @PurpleBIGMGG from what i hear it might be early 2012, fingers crossed to see trailers soon etc etc XD. I just hope this isnt going to be a failure

  • @kyoto678 Yeah hopefully not like all monsters attack lol

  • This song sums up my childhood. I'm proud to say that as a kid growing up in the 90s I watched almost every Godzilla movie ever made.

  • @tastybeaner right there with you. I still own many of the VHS

  • @tastybeaner I Did to i even bought all kinds of godzilla toys i even built tokyo out of vhs and boxes i could find lol

  • @tastybeaner this song pretty much sums me up. in high school, one of my friends hummed it whenever i walked into a room

  • @tastybeaner How? DVD wasn't out, or it was in it's infancy, and Godzilla films weren't being released in the U.S., not until DVD. How did you watch them?

  • @SonicThunderBYG You obviously didn't look for them. They were in tapes all throughout the 90's. I can probably still find 2 or 3 of them laying around the house as proof if I was able to show you.

  • @HughesJD1989 I must apologize. I wasn't even thinking about older Godzilla movies. I was thinking about the films being made in the 90s and those weren't released at all in the U.S until around 2000 or 2001. You're right, I watched them too!

  • @SonicThunderBYG who says that he´s from the u.s.? i watched them all too at that time, i´m from europe

  • @SonicThunderBYG wtf are you tlking bout the godzilla movies came out in VHS first

then when dvd came out they remade them for DVD

  • @otto142 The earlier Godzilla films were out on VHS, I thought he (or she) was referring to Godzilla films made in the 90s which weren't released in the U.S. at all until Godzilla 2000 was released.

  • @SonicThunderBYG yeah i had all the earlier ones on VHS. not really the newest ones.

  • @tastybeaner and im definitely a guy lol. But anyways yup. I had every Godzilla movie, toy, book, bed sheets, you name it. i also never went anywhere without a Godzilla toy. its still visible in most of my childhood pictures that i ALWAYS had one on me.

  • @tastybeaner I can remember I had an old VHS of Godzilla vs. Gigan that I watched just about everyday. I still have the case to the tape, but I gave the tape away. Luckily, I revamped my Godzilla collection to DVD, so I have every movie now. Godzilla 1985 and Godzilla vs. Biollante are still on VHS because they haven't yet seen a Western DVD release.

  • @SonicThunderBYG my favorite one was probly Godzilla vs King Ghidorah. something about that one was just awesome to me. and no lie, ive always had a hard time watching Godzilla vs Destroyah. I still cry when Godzilla dies.

  • @tastybeaner It's difficult for me to say what my favorite would be because I love them all for different reasons. For me, I guess it would have to be either Godzilla vs. Mothra (1964) or Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, and I completely agree; It is pretty emotional when Godzilla dies.

  • @SonicThunderBYG me too >_< godzilla's death in gojira has touched me.. T_T just as king kong's death but i don't cry XD lol i just get a little sad lol but its being remade :( godzilla.

  • I'm a bit skeptical of the new 2014 American remake myself because when you take a serious approach to Godzilla outside of Japan, he completely loses his symbolism as a metaphor for the affects of nuclear weapons because, luckily enough, the U.S. has yet to experience what it would be like having two nuclear bombs dropped on us, so Godzilla loses just about all deeper meaning when he's stomping around the U.S. Here, he's just another giant monster, not a reminder of the horrors of nuclear war.

  • @SonicThunderBYG I've seen the 1998 Godzilla film i was surprised it was in America O_o.. i guess i didn't really understand the point of Godzilla himself when i was younger. I thought the point of Godzilla was to be a monster who just attacked Japan at first. >_o but i see what you mean. XD haha im still wondering how Godzilla could be a reminder of the horrors of nuclear war because O_o.. i don't really understand Godzilla yet.

  • @hurricanesofhell Godzilla is a radiated salamander, so that answers the "reminder of a nuclear war" part. :3

  • @ElectricWaddle O_o... thanks lol

  • @tastybeaner You too huh

  • @tastybeaner and don`t forget....your better for it

  • @stevenlennon12 LOL. so true. best comment ever dude.

  • @tastybeaner bro me 2 i own all them on vhc n im trying to get all them on dvd but cant find them all

  • @tastybeaner dude the same. i had them all recorded on vhs. godzilla is the fkin man

  • @tastybeaner No fair.

  • This song was being played at my birth.

  • RIP Akira Ifukube

  • I think Megalon should be king. He already has a crown thingy. GODZILLA AIN'T THAT TOUGH!

  • JOE'S GUNNA KILL YOU!

  • HIS POWER IS UNEQUALED, HIS BATTLES ARE LEGENDARY, HIS RETURN IS NEAR.

IF U CAN'T STAND THE HEAT, RUN!

  • Heh..

  • THE MONSTER OF ALL TIME GODZILLA!!!!!

  • theme song of my life. seriously, one of my friends back in high school always hummed this when i walked into a room.

  • King of the Monstres Forever!!

  • GODZILLA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forever!!!!!!

  • Why do people keep saying Simon says get the fuck up? I read that on another page too.

  • @KingD628 because a rapper named pharoh monch did a song with a blatant rip off of the godzilla theme in the background

  • @SLPK360 Oh. Thanks.

  • @KingD628 and its called simon says. btw. lol

  • Godzilla>everything in the universe

  • a master piece of great music of all time.

  • ichiro honda sure knows how 2 make a theme!!!

  • @phantomreaper1010101 It was actually Akira Ifukube that made it Ishiro Honda loved it I guess cause he put it in the movie :D

  • Dude where can i download this i wanna play this when i go places like asain resturants n stuff

  • GODZILAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA lol the jap people make me laff

  • godzilla helped me conquer my fears

  • Hideki Matsui!!!!

  • this the best movie theme ever!

  • Hmmm. Now, where'd I put that oxygen destroyer?

  • Long live the king!

  • hollywood should just leave the giant monster movies to either the japanese or ray harryhausen. cloverfield was a joke

  • I've always been a fan of the lizard.

    :D

  • They need to start off from scratch! It's high time they re-make 1954! It's too old and can't stand up to modern times any more! And i'm a hard core Godzilla fan!

  • Fuck YOU - better watch the old stuff than the crappy modern attempts to remake old stuff.

Hollywood is a masterpiece of shitty example in this! their Remakes suck majorly ass! and they still continue recycling the 80ies and early 90ies!

  • If you were a hardcore Godzilla fan, you wouldn't think that. The first Godzilla film will remain the best film of the series. Remaking it would dishonor everyone who worked on it's memory.

  • Jarrecko-I see your point, and i grew up watching 'Godzilla' all my life and happen to have the 'Godzilla-2000' model and i have even had an awesome dream that the Devil was chasing me down a one way street then i heard a great big THUD, i turned around & there he was, Godzilla-2000! My body guard. So you see, un less you can top that & i know you never will, i am a hard core fan! Touchee

  • @MachoFan64 Wow,some hardcore fan,do you even know what that means?

  • @a15godzilla - Well, Hollywood already did there version of 'Godzilla' in 1998- and that sucked balls so bad that I puked to know levels like that ever before! The 'King Kong' remake by 'Peter Jackson' was awesome. Just a long ass boring boat ride in the beginning, but once on the island=AWESOME!

  • @MachoFan64 No levels

  • @MachoFan64 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that explains nothing.

  • love godzilla

  • any idea where I can download this? Been looking for awhile and haven't had much luck....oh and Godzilla is the shit...used to watch it when I was younger and I still do occasionally...

  • They need to bring back the good 90s Godzilla again, or at least use his design.

  • @jow3st

Do you mean the shitty American version? 'Cause that one sucked.

  • By Godzilla '90s I mean the official Godzilla that had movies in the 1990s (Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II).

  • @jow3st

    Oh! Okay. Nevermind, hahaha.

  • Toho made several godzilla movies past the nineties. Like Godzilla: 2000 and Godzilla: Final Wars for example, which both used the old design for Godzilla.

  • YES!

  • Haha!! Fuck you!!! >:^/

  • Overall each "era" starts off based from the 1954 film, Hesei and Milleniums first movies are both branches off the 1954 godzilla attack and are not related to eachother in any ways.

  • they should make a animated movie (animated like beowulf)

  • godzilla is king

  • @editman76 King of all monsters!

  • GODZILLA! epic song

anyone know if there is sheet music for this?

  • in Godzilla 2000 why are his spikes noticeably larger and red? Is it because of his age in the movie or just a design change?

  • i don't know but it might be a design change. i'll see what i can find out.

  • In Godzilla 2000 wasnt it Godzilla's Son Taking over Because Godzilla Died in Godzilla Vs Destroyah???

  • Well in Godzilla VS Destroyah there was Godzilla jr. One of the 2 Godzillas died and the other lived (i can't remember which one died).

None of the Godzilla movies are really all that connected. Some are, but most are not.

  • OK...first, Godzilla, Jr was killed by Destroyer. Then, Godzilla gets seriously angry and attacks Destroyer. However, the strain proved too much for Godzilla and, sadly, the Heisei Godzilla melted down. A very heartbeaking scene. However, Junior is revived by the massive release of radiation and mutates into a fully grown Godzilla. The films from Godzilla v Biollante onwards to Godzilla v. Destroyer are direct sequels.

  • Sadly? SADLY?! Is that all you can conjure up?!

I got all choked up. Hell, i only got into Godzilla as abit of b-movie fun, and i ended up watching every scrap i could get a hand on (harder than you think - barely anything's been released in the UK) and ended up with a lump in my throat as he thrashed about at the end.

Hell man. This was more than sad.

  • Man...I can't even watch it without the tears flowing. I don't even get that way at the end of the original film, but, the way he died in Destroyer is a death that I would never wish on anyone, no matter how evil. Yes, I understated it, because it's heartbreaking. First Junior gets killed then Godzilla melts down.

  • Toho themselves said thed G2K is not related at all to the previous films. This is not Godzilla, Jr.

  • @Splinter48708 Godzilla vs. Destroyah is when Godzilla dies after melting down and Godzilla Jr. takes his place. I believe in Godzilla vs. Biollante he may have died at Biollante's hands, but due to the whole premise of Godzilla having amazing regenerative abilities, it is doubtable.

  • Not all of the films are connected chronologically, the 2000 verizon was a re-imagining of the character.

  • It's a design change.

  • There have been several movies that don't acknowlege other films. My guess is it was just a different design. Most of the movies made in the 2000s ignored all other movies in history except Tokyo SOS which is a sequel to Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla.

  • It was a design change as well as the first of several standalone films that disregarded all films before it except to tie-in with Godzilla (1954).

  • thank you :]

  • Oh no, there goes Tokyo!

  • oh well lol!!!

  • they can rebuild it you know, lol.

  • All hail the king of the monsters!

  • sad face godzilla is a classic come back godzilla plz come back and hopefully broughtback from da dead i hope he will this song and him live in our hearts forever :) come back plz plz plz ;(

  • in what movie he dies?

  • I think it was Godzilla versus Destroyah. And the original 1954 Godzilla he also dies.

  • godzilla 3-D to the max is comin september 12 2009

  • Really!?

  • is that true?????!?!?!?!?????!!!!??????
