I am not japanese, I am Latina, but I greatly admire their culture for their strength, comitment and creativity. from the nuke came Gotzilla and great anime. anyway, I would like to thank you very much for posting this video, it was an amazing experience. and hope this shows other how ethnocentricsm and racism can be as "vile" as you posted. thanks again :)

it is no coincidence that samurais commited suicide when they "failed" at something, when they "failed" it meant their family and comunity did too, so, they killed themselves. just like the Kamikase pilots. its a different culture and asians soldiers are very strict and never give up. look at vietnam.

The Boxer Rebellion shows the Asians DO give up. The real problem with Vietnam was reneging on promise of independence given in WWII to none other than Ho Chi Minh followed by going in after the French had gotten their heads pounded in for nine years under what had to be the most idiotic rules of engagement seen in modern warfare.

their social structure is very "community" based and they do not give that much importance to their "lives" as individuals, but as a community and how they affect it. this was proven by Durkheim in the 19th century.

this is quite interesting. usually the USA don' t show pictures of their soldiers in a "dire" situation, (by that I mean, dead or captive). but although VERY racist and ethnocentric I have to say that what the "fake japanese dude" (they probably hired a white guy and put make up on him, most japanesse americans were either "forced" to fight (nissei) or put in "concentration camps".
