It's not evil. It's the most beautiful theme song. Because for me - this is the first Touhou song I listened to! It symbolizes my love and obsession for Project Touhou.
i'd have to agree, the organ would make this even more evil... But at the same time: The delicate beauty of the violin seems to suit her. Or maybe that's just me? I feel like an organ would be more of an overwhelmingly powerful and up front evil, while the violins hint at mystery nd a deep and complex mind.
Satori Maiden is a song that strongly corresponds with Satori Komeji as a character. It has a menace to it, the dark and evil vibe, of course. But - At least to me - it also strikes pangs of lonliness and isolation.
@RevnaVarea If Hyrule Castle was suddenly controlled by an evil Princess Zelda, who broods maniacally and tyranically over Hyrule, then yes, it is very Hyrule Castle.
I didn't like 3rd eye that much. I never got that feeling that you described ,it seemed so plain and for me it didn't have any personality, which made me not pay attention to Satori...
Metal arranges especially didn't put me into any kind of mood. Of course that doesn't mean that every arrange that I heard was bad, this one just succeeds in actually telling a story or rather in presenting Satori's personality and feelings.

3rd eye is one of my favorite song in the series (the intro is great, and the rest of the song is no letdown). I really love Satori's fight, and the first time I heard the intro of the song while playing, I knew I was in for a fun, but hard fight. I was right ^^

I feel that Satori's theme has a creepy, haunted vibe to it, but that just makes it all the more epic. Spooky and dramatic.
It's amazingly fitting for her character, but as you said, she's not really evil, just living the way she knows how to. xP
BTW, nice arrange. Violins (and similar instruments) make everything better imo.

To me, 3rd Eye sounds like something from a Castlevania game, a very eerie, haunting tune. This arrangement definitely does justice to that mood.

Satori is athe best 4 boss in the Touhou series, the oters, sorry but this boss make the evil sense of "Oh My God" that i ever sense when she appear.
