  • @ItsANakedEwok thanks :)

  • Very nice! Perfect. I have made several bags and did not know how to make the flat bottom. I just tucked the fabric in. Love the style. Can't wait to make a few with my scrap walk in closet.

  • @lovepatternsdotco Cool glad you liked the vid :)

  • Excellent stuff - thanks

  • Very well done! I have been looking for a good tutorial for a few weeks now and finally found one where I don't have to cut 100 peices of fabric.

    Thanks for posting!

  • Wow, I am truely impressed, I love a man that can sew! That is just awesome. Unfortunity, I have a large family and I would have to make several of these. But how great would this be for the library!

  • Thanks for you great comment :o)

brought a smile to my face :o)

  • this is great.

    thanks.

i am going to make this for school.

how many kilos can this bag hold?

does it depend on the fabric?

  • Thanks for the comment :o)

Yeah if your fabric is of the lighter weight then what the bag can carry will be limited so try and go for a heavy weight fabric and reinforce your handles at the point where they attach to the bag itself. hope thats of some help. :o)

  • oh and can you make the bag without a sowing machine?

  • Yeah easy enough :o) the best stitch for that would be back stitch for strength :o)

  • im gonna make this one of ironed trashbags!

  • cool man! thanks!

  • thanks dude!!

  • i wanna make a bag ima ask my mom for her sewing machine XD...

  • Thanx 4 the Rating!

  • Actually woke up this morning to do the shirt and it was great till I hit a brick wall- without the proper lxwxh on the sides and bottom mine didn't come out so good... but I like it in a weird way. It is all twisted & contorted. Do you have the measurements that you could pass one, please! I am sure it would be a help to a lot of people.

  • yeah I will post the mesurments on the vid description if that helps.

  • yes, that would be great!

  • have updated the video description for you hope this helps ???

  • YES, it help immensely!!! Great video/tutorial.

I have been using recycled bags for about a year, i LOVE not having to deal w/plastic any more. W/your help, now i can make my own bags =D

  • cool glad you like and good luck on making them :o)

Since this video I have made two more for other people and they use them all the time :o)

cant tell you haw happy it makes me lol

  • That was a great tutorial! I will try to make one myself based on your bag and post it but I doubt if I will be able to do as well on the tutorial so I will just refer others to your page if I decide to post it.

  • Cool I look forward to seeing you video

  • Is there a schematic or pattern somewhere?

  • I made the pattern myself. Its really easy to do would be happy to give you the dimentions of the bag if you wish .

  • Oh, that's ok then. I can work it out. I'll probably use one long piece for the sides and bottom, and two for the sides. It will be less stitchery too since I don't have a machine. :)

    Thanks,

    -B
