  • Thank you for making this video. I am planning on completing my transition at work this year and your video was quite inspiring. Paige

  • you are working for a wonderful company - these are bloody rare!! You must be really important to this organisation!

  • Hi Emma, you're lucky you had such a positive coming out experience at work. Mine wasn't so overwhelming supportive. It's been about a year now full time at my job and I finally got HR to agree to change my name in email, ID, etc... only after I did a legal name change. Although many ppl at work were supportive, I lost many friends and still feel ostracized by many co-workers. My advice to other trans is to change jobs if you can, it's soo much better to start fresh.

    Hugs,

    Michelle

  • I seen a dog at my sons 1k run... kindergartener :) and the dogs name was pockets I thought was the cutest name ever!!!

  • very pretty

  • Amazing emma!

  • I am so glad that it well well coming out at work can be a scary moment. I came out at work in May and had a similar experience. HR was awesome, my coworkers were great and had no trouble with names and pronouns. On my first day I was so nervous but I came in and was greeted with a pile of emails stating how brave and happy they were for me. In hindsight I don't really know what I was so scared about.

  • Thanks for sharing, I am happy for you that coming out as Emma at work went so well - astonishing as seen from my viewpoint here.

  • Congrats on the smooth "coming out". I am still absolutely terrified to do the same!

  • BTW... The same process was what happened when I came out full time at Apple

  • Congrats Emma. I am very happy for you. It was like yesterday for me and each day things got better and easier and now... I am recovering from SRS last Friday. I love your videos. Take care. I'll keep watching.

  • Congrats Emma on a happy coming out at work event ... I would really appreciate some answers to some questions . How much breast growth have u experienced so far and how hard has it been hiding that at work and how did u even hide that what methods did u use to hide them please please please ur answers would really help thanks

  • Congratulations Emma, glad to hear things are going well.

  • It's so great your work is supportive. It must feel great to just be yourself and not have to "pretend" any more. You were probably nervous because you hear more of the bad experiences people have had than the good ones. I expect you'll get more questions, but it's good you get to educate people on an issue that is so misunderstood. I'm also sure in time your brother and father will also embrace your change. It is hard on dads, but they'll remember they love you, and you're still the same person!
