Good Lord, I haven’t seen a Carling bottle in years! Carling Black Label was a popular beer in my home state when I was younger. This is a great video Jeep, very informative.
all that trash is a very sad thing. It's too bad these dunes aren't at a more remote area like la reserve faunique la verendrye or northern ontario. The sadder part is that only 93 people have seen this quality video. You should have had at least 93000 views by now.
You need a new way to promote your channel, new editing skills or something. Maybe posting video on popular channels would help a bit. Channels I like: spricket24 uxwbill (davidsfarm he pollutes a lot but uses his recycling bin)
@101xfmrogers Thank you for your suggestions. We are still learning how to promote a channel like this. We can use all the help we can get. And so do our precious wild spaces.
What an awesome place. You wouldn't think with all of Canada's open space that people would be bunched up like that. The water looks exceptionally safe for swimming, however, which is probably why it is crawling with families with young kids.
I get insanely angry when I see trash in the wilderness. I'm glad you captured that. There is a stunning place with waterfalls near my home that has been covered by graffiti. It really makes me see red.
@enjoythewildUSA When you have the time take some video for us and post it. Perhaps as a video response to this video. We can start a collection. Maybe the people that need to see it might change their ways. Maybe it is as simple as asking them to stop.
@EconoChallenge ...You have inspired me. I'm going to go back into the area of blight and video tape the graffiti carnage. I'll try and get it done in the next few months. It so irritates me that I almost hate to go in there but you are right, it needs to be done to open people's eyes regarding what certain people have done to beautiful outdoor places.
Wow my friend, great vid man! That truly is a wonderful looking place! Resembles most of the terrain here. Other than you still have a wider variety of trees :o) It's a real shame that the morons of the world have to pollute the beauty :o( But we see it everywhere on the planet. We have the same problem here too! It's mainly the younger generations and here it is not the tourists that do these things, it's the locals. People of all races! I think the fines should be much higher for this idiocy!
@Ggreenvideos After seeing the garbage and where on the dunes it is located, it points to locals who are doing the damage. Tourist would need to rent a boat to get up that far. Most people would not hike in the way I did and see the illegal camping site remains. I think a video like this is a great way to engage the local community and plant the seeds of change. We will see.
I like going snowmobiling here.

@farmf250 I was not aware that you could ride snow machines on the dunes. Or are you just riding on West / East Lake?

@EconoChallenge well, you're probably not supposed to, but i'm a local.

I love camping here. It's so sad that people don't treat this beautiful area as it should. :(

Thanks for sharing this! Some amazing shots, really sad to see how people can disrespect such an amazing place by littering.

Pity about the garbage. All the broken glass is scary.
