My younger sisters and brothers played with Barbie, I was 13 when Barbie arrived, just old enough to help them make doll clothes. Of course I played too. My favorite doll was a coke bottle with corn silk for the hair....fun days..lol..
I have to say I didn`t play with Barbie my little sister did I was the biggest tomboy barbies for for sissy girls...lol I was out playing with the boys cowboys and indians, cops and robbers, tag football, baseball, ridin are bikes all over town...kids have so much today with all the video stuff that is out there but I think we had more fun in some ways we were free just go play and use our imaginations...and old deck of cards some clothes pins for your bike and you were in hog heaven....: O )
You brought back a memory I'd not thought about in a few decades -- that clothes pin and card thing we did on our bicycles to make it sound, well, um, brrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmm. LOL!
Yes, I played with Barbie. Heck, I still like dolls!

Ron you look great! Do you have a portrait aging in the closet like Dorian Gray? I never played with Barbie but I always wanted a Ken doll!
