@XmuveeStudios If your going to get a Video SLR get the 550D, only costs a bit more but better quality image, 1080p and full manual controls. It might be a handy transition camera for you as you can go out and shoot video now rather than waiting. Also when you do get a NX5 you can use the 550D as your B camera.
When my 550D arrives I will do a comparison between the two but from what ive read the 550D is far better than the 500D for both video and stills
That would be great, as I'm planning to get the Sony NXCAM when it's released, which is basically the Z5 but using the tapeless AVCHD format rather than HDV.
It does have a microphoe input! i went to see it in a store and i noticed that it does have a mic input! ;)
