@RaginRussian Protein in carbs food are not as full of every amino acid there is, more precisely not BCAA. which is what you need when your building muscles. proteins from animal sources( meat, fish, milk, etc ) contain quality protein and should be prioritized above nuts or something like that.
DAMN!!! Ive done this shit so many times when i used to strength train heavily...Now I have less ego so my concern over having big muscles is less existent....I just eat whatever, while my mantra is I don't give a fuck.....lol
my buddy says morale is important. real internal force comes from within. muscles don't equate to strength, but rather insecurity...unless you're showing by example as a vegan, etc.
some protein powders mix with water ok; depends on the flavour and amount of added sugar! I don't worry about it pre-workout, just a healthy brekkie first, or nothing if I go first thing in the morning (which is most of the time). Post workout I mix whey in a blender with a banana, an egg, bit of yoghurt, bit of milk, oats, cinnamon and water. It's yummo!
Well I bake homemade white, rye, and wheat bread from scratch a lot. NOT WITH A BREAD MACHINE! lol. and no I have never used milk, or eggs. never seen a recipe that required it either unless it was like a sweet roll like you would get at Golden Corral, or cinnamon rolls. But store bought could be different!

how much protein should a 180 pound kid be getting if he wants to add muscle?
leftyoublueandblack 2 years ago
According to Brad's research, we only need around 70-120 grams each day. The important thing is to workout out properly, regularly, and hard!

I've been guilty of this! In the past I even added some whey to the milk. Got fatter, not ripped!
binnieboy280779 2 years ago

Man, thanks so much for real nutritional information. Your stuff debunks so much of what we've been lead to believe.
