  • so amazing

  • God, Sass is gorgeous!!!! <3 <3 <3

  • I can't get enough of it!!

  • she used to be so damm hot

  • Sass is very talented and also does very good back vocals on Paul Piche songs among them.So in French and English.

  • A wonderful song. Timeless in its beauty.

  • what a beautiful song

  • Great song. Timeless quality. Sass is a real artist. Memories with this song. Thanks for posting. I am just burning all my CD on itunes and just finished importing "Tell Somebody" album.

  • Great song and a timeless video! Reminds me so much of my university days in Montreal in the late '80's / early '90's! Thanks for posting!

  • Hey me too! This album reminds me of 89-92... I went to McGill. Fantastic song!

  • Great tune!

  • I agree. The video is hung up on the "strange(r)" element of the song's title. I would like to hear this song sung with an string orchestra behind the vocals.

  • An amazing song, my fave of hers.

But the vid..... It's one of those "high concept" things you still see around, especially in stuff from Jann Arden. It detracts so greatly from the song it ruins the mood. The vid is best when it focuses on Sass..... too bad they didn't do a faux-live version.

  • calvintoronto is right. The concept aspect dilutes the power of the video. Sass is beautiful and the camera loves her. As a whole, the video comes off as a clumsy film-student project. The images of those carny/circus folk take away from the intensity of the song.

  • nice song!

  • this song is awsome, shes so underated compared to other artists today, a very rare video thanks for posting,

  • reminds me of 9 1/2 weeks where she (kim basenger ) went to see the old man about the paintings , sitting on a bench in the path nothing left to do but wait for your time to come .

  • great song...i love it!

  • Awsome tune i loved Sass from her days backing up with THE BOX...

  • Great Song Great singer probably the most under rated Canadian artist ...Period!

  • So true.

  • i was amazed to find this. This video is still timeless and layered with meaning, and her voice is even richer than i remembered.

Thanks so much for posting it.

  • Thanks for sharing this!!

  • Definitely under-rated. I don't care what the blokes say, Sass Jordan est une Montréalaise (she is a Montrealer)! It's not where you're born that matters, it's where your heart is!

  • From a proud newfie I have to say Montreal...RAWKS!!!

  • How convenient! As a proud Montrealer, Newfies RULE!! Cheers! from one unique culture to another!

  • Tanks by'! ;-)

  • Who is the old guy in the video? He looks like John Locke from Lost,... heheheheh

  • this song is excellent, this is what music is, not the rubbish they play nowadays! nice one keep them coming!!

  • She was born in Birmingham England, not Canada.

  • Yes she was, but she is a Canadian citizen and has been since the late 60s.

  • vid is still esoteric

  • Thanks for posting this still very nice video, even after all these years. The song is just as beautiful. Definitely my best Sass Jordan era.

I suppose Erik Canuel directed this video as well (since his brother stars in it)? Who would have thought he would be the director of the biggest Canadian blockbuster 15 years later...

  • I love this song, too. I thought I was the only person who liked her music back then. And judging by the number of views and comments, I don't think many people appreciate her work; either through ignorance or bad taste. Their loss.

  • Maybe she suffered for two reasons: 1. she is Canadian 2. she isn't selling sex(yness).

She belongs in our collective conscience as a World Class artist.

  • agreed with cubagirl

  • Sass is brilliant. I love all of her music, but this song i hold very dear to myself because I remember the intimate memories that went with it for me when it was on the radio in the 80s.

  • My all time favourite Sass Jordan song!! THANK YOU!!
