@MrNate077 you go around camp mcarran to the very end of it then go right there should be a place called ncr shared cropper farms then keep going north until you find the gun runners keep going then you will see a big door and that should be the new Vegas east freeside entrance go in there do some errands for the king and after that you can get a favour from him like money or counterfeit passport or you can pay the robots 800 caps to get into the strip

You can get into The Strip early too, just go into Camp Mcarran, run past the guards in front of the train and take a ride to The Strip. No need for the 2000 cap credit check or a counterfeit passport.

It's also possible to get to NV by going through Goodsprings Cemetary, an walking around the edges to avoid the Scorpions, the Cavadors(?) and Fiends. There's a huge chance they'll attack, I recommend you have a few Stimpaks and don't fight them...keep running...they'll fall behind. Just keep regenerating health after it gets low. I've done this like 3 times and it worked...only died 1 - 2 times.
i actually was worried alot and i got killed like 30 times but i never gave up. i just ceap saying checkpoint when i ceap getting closer to las vegus and save it! :)
After watching this I tried it out, (good tutoral btw), and I thought it would be cool to kill a couple of super mutants with that huge ass boulder. I tried a bunch of times to get the timing right., either they would be to close or to far. I finally get the timing perfect and it didn't even work. The boulder went right though the mutant, barely even slowed him down. What a waste.
Dude how do I find Lt. Hayes? The soldier told me it was "in a tent just down the streets", but apparently you have to infiltrate a city full of criminals, invade the building and then try to convince Hayes to help me. Can someone tell me where the guy is? And what level do I have to be to do it? Because I'm in level 2 and apparently EVERY fucking thing on the game can kill me with one or two hits, except for the Powder Gang.
nice...when i started this game i was all like want to go to vegas....but deathclaws....so i used the exact route you said(before watching this vid,i tought of myself)and made it there...not even stinged by a bark scorpion
and BTW if you have a hard time getting the passport go into the Kings place and go to meet the king give the guy 50 caps dotn say 500 just say heres 50 caps and you'll get in, talk to the king do the missions he provides which is only like 2 or 3 there really easy and at then end he'll say you have one favor for him ask him about the favor and ask if he can get you into the strip
i just took the road from novac LOL i ran into a few legion but i busted they skull with my fuckin cowboy repeater YEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAW if thats how you spell it? Anyway its alot easier i even ran into some guy with a gutair sleeping by a bilboard LOL but you can help him get a job in the strip once you get in. This way just seems to be the hard one LOL
i got in by doing the easy quests at the start (including quests to obtain ED-E and Boone - for protection) then once i was able to get my science skill to 80 i just run a bypass on the robots at the gate and they let me in for free.
I had to go into the death claw nesting area for a quest, and I didn't get hit once, or even need a stealth boy, and I was like level 10 :D That was my greatest achievement EVER in Fallout new Vegas :) Nice vid btw :)

i found just killing the cazadores ( giant killer bee/butterfly/housefly thing) is much easier i got very little death claw resistance ( two young death claws ) then i just sneak past the raider wannbe people with two stealth boys i found ( do'nt know how or where i got em just scavenged a bit then i hugged close to to new vegas wall and got to free side... HELP A FELLOW FALLOUT FAN--Has anyone had the problem of loading a saved game progress??? I keep getting a loading screen that NEVER loads. I checked online and it said to try to load another file from previous saves cause the most recent save might be "corrupted". How does that happen??? I have about 10 hrs or so invested into the game already and I really dont feel like starting over. This problem just accured and i was able to load it finally but I dont want it to happen again. @vargusalex Same thing happened to me. Saves in the New Vegas get corrupted all the time so your probably gonna have to restart. Ironically It happened to me at around 10 hours as well.
@KryllKiller Try this, find a previous saved file that is not "corrupted" and load it. If succesfull, then once you are playing the game, load the last, most recent save that you have and it will load. It loads if you are playing the game, which is just weird, but it worked for me. This should take you back to where you left off. I just found that out, I am playing the game as I typed this.
@KryllKiller Turning off some of the autosave features generally helps that out a lot. If something get's corrupt, start a new game and load the save game through the load option in the pause menu. And by the way, "no." This is in not a gliche or anything in the game. Common sense announcement: In free-roam games they often put the more powerful enemies in mid/end-game areas.

Actually, if you kill the powder ganger in the saloon in the town where you start he'll have a stealth boy on him. then you'll run into some more powder gangers on the way to new vegas so you can get a second. then you just use the stealth boy to sneak past the deathclaws and then when you get to freeside you'll go into the atomic wrangler and kill hadrian. he'll have a key to the new vegas gate. then all you have to do is run past the robots at the gate and get in before they vaporize you.
I have similar route for low lvl character, only that instead of walking in Black Mountain territory I go around it hugging the wall. This way I'm staying out of Super Mutants sight and out of Deathclaws range, you can check my route on my channel or by searching "Fallout: New Vegas - Quick & Safe route to Strip " on YouTube.
@OxYangxO Didn't work for me and I used two(at the same time). It's like they have radar! Any way, getting awesome weapons early on was great fun when you had to fight enemies that were previously complete badass'.
a little tip when you go up that little pass there is a dead ncr man take his suit head to mcarren then put it on and you can ride the monorail in and if u leave through the front entrance u can get back in and the robot wont question you.
what i did was i stuck close to the edge of the hills on the right side of the road through the deathclaw valley and when i noticed i was almost gonna be detected, i used a stealthboy i had, and it went good for me...
i killed all the deathclaws deathclaw island dead wind cavern including the legendary deathclaw and on the way to new vegas and the strip and quarry junction but they keep respawning! i used ycs 186 anti material rifle and fat man but i restarted on a different account and i used the stealth boy to get past the cazoadors,well i tried they kepy some how finding me so thanks so now im gonna go to quarry junction and get the fat man ahnd the mini nuke but of course i cant get the other one too hard
Nice, thanks for that. Just followed it now. I did get spotted by a deathclaw (a bit unlucky I think) but while Neil had a fight with it (and died) the deathclaw got trapped on some rocks. I'd just started a new character so I only had a revolver, a scoped 9mm pistol and the pre-order caravan shotgun but luckily enough ammo to finish the poor bastarrd off.

the butterfly is cazador, and faults about getting though the death claw vally if you have high sneaking skill or have a stealth boy to get pass them quicker (stealth boy number u might need 2-3 of them just in case the first one die on you), and what was my lvl when I was getting myself 2 saloon to new vegas, it was lvl 10, pass death claw sneaking skill 65 (yes I did put all my skill on sneaking and few on melee weapons (Strange assassin legion came up early in the game and got super slugged)
i started thinking i was badass but it didnt turn out so well

a little tip when you go up that little pass there is a dead ncr man take his suit head to mcarren then put it on and you can ride the monorail in and if u leave through the front entrance u can get back in and the robot wont question you.

what i did was i stuck close to the edge of the hills on the right side of the road through the deathclaw valley and when i noticed i was almost gonna be detected, i used a stealthboy i had, and it went good for me...

actually you can get to new vegas through the deathclaws if they see u u make a run for it and dont look back thts wat ima do right now

i killed all the deathclaws deathclaw island dead wind cavern including the legendary deathclaw and on the way to new vegas and the strip and quarry junction but they keep respawning! i used ycs 186 anti material rifle and fat man but i restarted on a different account and i used the stealth boy to get past the cazoadors,well i tried they kepy some how finding me so thanks so now im gonna go to quarry junction and get the fat man ahnd the mini nuke but of course i cant get the other one too hard

Nice, thanks for that. Just followed it now. I did get spotted by a deathclaw (a bit unlucky I think) but while Neil had a fight with it (and died) the deathclaw got trapped on some rocks. I'd just started a new character so I only had a revolver, a scoped 9mm pistol and the pre-order caravan shotgun but luckily enough ammo to finish the poor bastarrd off.

the butterfly is cazador, and faults about getting though the death claw vally if you have high sneaking skill or have a stealth boy to get pass them quicker (stealth boy number u might need 2-3 of them just in case the first one die on you), and what was my lvl when I was getting myself 2 saloon to new vegas, it was lvl 10, pass death claw sneaking skill 65 (yes I did put all my skill on sneaking and few on melee weapons (Strange assassin legion came up early in the game and got super slugged)
