  • @urguelfa - So do I! Anybody know where I can get a time-machine that works? If I find one, you can come back with me! ;-))

  • One of my all time favs. Was it the Blizard of Oz or Lic To Thrill? Great mems either way.

  • Blizzard of Aaahs - such a wicked movie (and song)

  • @Pownuts

This track is INSANELY GOOD in that film - such a cool sequence.....

  • 1987 was a shit time for pop music which might explain why this wasn't but should have been a hit

  • Are you nuts?! 1987 was - as every year of the 80s - the greatest time not just for pop music, but for music EVER! It was the golden decade of music.

  • Outstanding!! thanks.

  • their album is fantastic, just buy it!

  • You know whats best for the folks. Thanks for placing this clip here

  • geremoff, Brucken!

  • haha! I love Claudia but that was a funny comment (regardin this particular vid). Who's the Nick Drake looking guy with her and from when was this ?? never heard of ACT

  • ..that's Thomas Leer, who also released a brilliant/underrated album called "the scale of ten"..ACT came out after claudia quit Propaganda in '88.

  • did Thomas Leer ever put out a video for Memories of Reason?

  • Thank you soooo much, I remember "Tomorrows World" on BBC featuring the recording of this song in '87 and I have not heard it in the last 15 or so years. BTW I adore Claudia!

  • Brilliant production by Steve Lipson

  • I just love this song and Claudia's voice is so sexy!!

  • beautiful song ! thanks !

  • I remember buying the 12" of this when it came out - over the years I've forgotten what a fantastic song it is!

  • Finally i get a chance to see the video of a song wich was one of my favourites in the 80's.

    Thnx!!!

  • the lyric "obession just like calvin klien" is a step too far but this is quality synth pop. just wish propaganda did more in their original line up

  • Thank u sooo much for posting this I just wish they had music like this nowadays!! I love tha 80's although I missed out on some great bands but Im discovering a lot of them via youtube from tha likes of u and others thanks a lot again!!

  • There are 3 singles of this song: a CD-single "extended version", a vinyl 12" "(Naked Civil) Snobbery & Decay)" and a vinyl 12" "Snobbery & Decay (That's Entertainment)" all worth getting!

  • Fab song. Great social commentary on the decadent 80's. Sadly still very relevant today.

  • One of the greatest acts of the 80's!

  • Claudia Bruecken is soooo great, ♥ her UNIQUE Vocals

  • I've worshipped her since 1984 ... and actually talked to the goddess in Leicester (!) at a OneTwo gig last year.

  • you're not the only one!!!!!!!!

    <3<3<3

  • Not my favorite Act song, but what a great find these videos are on YT. I would live these days in the 80s in a continuous loop if I could!

  • My fav song involving Claudia Brucken her first album with Propaganda. She is at her best when staying in touch with angst and depth, and away from being "pop." One must realized there particular gift, and for her, it is not shallow stuff.

  • Hellfire :-)
