for the guys guessing what sword he is wielding ill tell you this much. Though it may look and have a characteristic or two of a katana. In no other way or form is it even close to a katana. Unfortunately, as history dictates. The chinese as advanced as they were back then, they were not famous for their iron and steel. The quality of their swords were quite primative compared to any other nation.

I saw the movie many times and I enjoyed it. It was a fun movie with excellent visuals, fighting, and an interesting story. Even though he united China and provided stability, the king of Qin was a really evil and brutal guy, a really tyrannical kind of leader . So when you think about it, the movie was advocating that unity and stability ( even under a brutal dictator) are more important than human rights and freedom and all that. I liked that movie, but i disagree with its message.

@risingsun08107 I think that overplays the message a bit. It's not really a choice between brutality and freedom, it's a choice between Qin domination and endless warfare. Both options are presented as pretty bad.
