it does require premium. It makes a huge difference. I also use lucas oil additive and it seems to give me another 75-100 miles per tank on long trips. I get around 500 miles per tank because of this additive.

just got this but the JCW version - what did I trade in for it? a 2008 VW R32 - didnt use the 4-motion and loved the R but honestly this mini is soooo much fun. to each their own I guess.

I just bought this car, same color and same year. It is a fantastic car to drive. It's little 1.6L turbo is just a hoot to drive. You wouldn't think this little car could be so much fun but imagine riding on a go cart with 4 seats. It can zip in and out of traffic and the pick up in speed is incredible for a 1.6L. I also have been getting around 33Mpg even with a lead foot. It rivals the fun of a VW 2L TDI. Awesome Job Mini

I'm not now aware of any rear noise while I'm driving unless I've got groceries bouncing around in the back. Mini has done a pretty good job of keeping the outside noises out. There is a slight air noise where the sun roof is but other than that it is a A+. I have the upgraded 10 speaker system with the auxiliary port which is cheaper than the integrated ipod. I just bought a $4 cable at Lowes and it works great. I'm not disappointed at all. It is wonderful.
