  • whoah, thank you!! :D haha. i learned easily cause of that. 5 stars!

  • I already knew how to read the tab, but I'm just wondering how to make it sound louder. Apparently just putting your finger there and taking it off without strumming isn't all to HOPOs.

  • wow.. it awesome.. thax a lot...

  • i did watch it at 3 times and i understanded lot more after it. THANK YOU!

  • At 1:36 or so, Peter says "...for that whole mess.". I had to go back and relisten then cracked up lol. Too funny : ). Peter is a great teacher!

  • James Taylor uses these a lot!!! thanks for posting

  • I appreciate the lesson ... thank you ...

    Don ...

  • One question about the pull off, do I strike the string when I pull off?? Great lesson, thanks!!!

  • no! the whole point of doing a pull-off is not to strike the sring, because you dont hear the sound of the pick and it becomes smoother, legato. When doing a pulloff your picking hand has the time to move to another string for example, while you still can play anothrt note..makes you faster.

  • Thanks santacruezz, but what about the finger in the fret? does that "pull" the string, when Peter does the 7 notes, it sounds like it, Thanks for your help!!

  • yes, it is more like a flicking motion. It is a tough thing at first but you will easily get it after a while of practise and when your fretting hands get stronger...I, myself only play for 7 months now and practised that a lot and I feel pretty comfortable with pull offs. Practise those! A cool one to define your playing.

  • I think a nicer way of saying it than santacruezz is, a simple... no, you do not.
