I was so lost on cloth diapers on how to wash it.I'm new with cloth diapers. I watch all kinds of videos. I notice everyone has their own way of washing. Which made me more confused. I watched your video. I felt better, YOU explained everything very well. I will watch more of your video when I need your help, Thank You!!
This really helped explain things to me who is about to be a grandma for the first time and my son and daughter in law will be using these new type of cloth diapers that I just didn't understand about with "liners" and all! LOL
So glad that I found this tutorial. I bought alot of BG's today and the women at the store had no idea how to explain washing prcedure so these tips are GREAT thanks
If you have a newborn, you can just run it right through the wash.
Couple of options for older babies: Shake solids out into the toilet, spray with Bum Genius Odor Remover or Biokleen Bac-Out, then put in a dry pail until ready to wash. Or you can buy a sprayer that attaches to your toilet, so that you can rinse off the poo into the toilet before putting in your diaper pail.
I will do a load every other day, so the diapers are not sitting in the pail too long.
This was really helpful. I used disposables with my first and I plan on using cloth with my second. I was so confused about cloth diapers and how they worked, but I feel like a pro just from watching your videos!
I have been using the Bum Genius Odor Remover or Biokleen Bac-Out sprays, they've been very helpful at keeping stains and odors at bay. Also, not allowing the diapers to sit too long in your diaper pail before washing.
Also, be sure to strip your diapers when you notice odors -- or if you notice baby's bottom starting to get irritated.
Thanks for the great tips!!! I'm 21 weeks pregnant and have been looking at the pros and cons of both disposables and cloth diapers. This was very helpful!
you are sooo helpful!!! thank you so much!

don't use spray and wash to prevent stains, either? does the enzyme or odor remover help prevent the stains?
