We knew he was coming and were outside trying to get tix but the show was already sold out. Luckily we were at the right place later that night when Bruce came in to hang with Clarence on Cookman. Thanks Steve, we got to see your video of what we missed at the Wonder Bar. Responses that are less than "thank you" should be taken with a grain or salt, or better yet not taken at all. Well, now I've seen it all. We now know, after all the rumors, what Bruce's next project is. I can see it now! A new tour - Bruce and The Jersey Doo Wop Kings!. Unbelievable! Bruce, where have you been hiding the pink and cream colored guitar! Perfect for the night. Man, the luck people who were there last night! Doo Wop never really left, but it's definitely back, now!

This is excellent in my view and delightfully different from other Bruce guest spots. I've seen a few splendid performers at the Wonder Bar but this looks like a special night - and as 23niner points out below it's great to be watching in the UK so soon after the event. Doo-wop is not a style we associate with Bruce but again he comes up trumps. The abuse by other contributors doesn't do anyone any favours. Chill, chaps!

@Postal68 what IS your problem? these guys had spent the afternoon at an event talking about the roots of the asbury park music scene,(of which they are all part) and are just jamming together. if it's not your thing , stay clear. Bruce is not seeking your approval for everything he does. In the past this would have been a local event that his fans worldwide would not have been able to share so let us enjoy that fact.Despite his wealth/status he would never be as patronizing as you ve been.
