your wrong. h22 is much more expensive. plus u cant just drop an h22 in a civic and expect it to fit.

i say any b series motor would always be a good swap on a civic with a single cam. but single cams are good motors too. u can make them stay with or beat gsr's

Find a regular old d15, find yourself a vtec d16 head, thats a mini me. Search mini me on google. You will get a much better answer than anyone on here is willing to give you.

depends on alot of shit obI obd II but youll need a p28 ecu vtec head Y8 manifold and youll have to splice some wires! and get a new head gasket

LOOL casue there is WAYYY more work in doing that then doing a head swap also depends on the car as well might ahve to change mounts n such as well a head swap is deffently easier then doing an engine swap( keeping in mind im stricly talking about a mini me swap according to this video)

depends on the application as well. d16z6 is an obd1 say he is running an obd2 or obd0 etc chassis car(electrical sstem right) would be way easier to do a head swap then a engine swap but yes id say we are both right in that sence could be plug and play but might not be depends on the application//// guess it also depends on a persons budget as well :D

all you have to do is remove the oil jet on the block between cyl. 2 & 3 with a screw then slap the vtec head on wire for vtec then blam

D15B2 (DPFI) is different. It uses a combo between OBD0 and OBD1. You need to change the wiring loom from the ECU to the Engine.

This is with ± 11:1 CR. The intake tube was made out one piece of 16 gauge 2½ inch pipe and runs from the TB to the rear of the RH headlamp. That made it a lot louder then with the stock airfilter and tube in place.

When VTEC kicks in, you can really hear my home-made intake-tube with K&N Filter.

The car now has a bigger exhaust and pulls much better in higher revs especialy on the free way
