I don't think it is so much that other cultures are smarter than western cultures. It's more that we allow ourselves to experience the world through the perceptions of others and take those perceptions as our own rather than experiencing the world for ourselves and through our own perceptions based on our personal experiences. Eastern cultures especially value the importance of individual perception.

He says that Calleman's date is off, it's not October 28th, but December 21st that the calender ends and begins again. In Perennial Philosophy and many, many cultures around the world, the Sun is reborn on the Solstice, not the end of October- that date coincides more with Pagan New Year.

Yes, this is a big misunderstanding. The Maya never did disappear as a people but their civilization did, for whatever reason. Individually, they drifted off from their population centers and settled with other groups throughout Central America. This is especially fortunate for us because their Shamen still carry the philosophy and every one that I know of is solid on one fact. 2012 is not the end of the world- it is the end of an age and nothing to be feared.

Only a small portion of the Sun's radiation is in the visible spectrum. It is entirely possible that something could block our view of the sun yet still allow the passage of infrared radiation. So, even with no visible light reaching us the IR would would keep the earth warm. I'm not convinced that this is what will happen, but I do try to keep an open mind.

About the possible new sun, it might be that after the dark transition some people encounter the sun in a different space-time-line, hence making it a different sun while other people remains in the same space-time-line with no change in the sun, every case depending on the vibratory frequency of consciousness.

I don't think it is so much that other cultures are smarter than western cultures. It's more that we allow ourselves to experience the world through the perceptions of others and take those perceptions as our own rather than experiencing the world for ourselves and through our own perceptions based on our personal experiences. Eastern cultures especially value the importance of individual perception.
In short, the problem is that we have a tendency to be "Sheeple".

@iaumfreeandawake I have heard of Calleman, some of his theories are interesting, but I have to go with John Major Jenkins on this one. He says that Calleman's date is off, it's not October 28th, but December 21st that the calender ends and begins again. In Perennial Philosophy and many, many cultures around the world, the Sun is reborn on the Solstice, not the end of October- that date coincides more with Pagan New Year.

Yes, this is a big misunderstanding. The Maya never did disappear as a people but their civilization did, for whatever reason. Individually, they drifted off from their population centers and settled with other groups throughout Central America. This is especially fortunate for us because their Shamen still carry the philosophy and every one that I know of is solid on one fact. 2012 is not the end of the world- it is the end of an age and nothing to be feared.

Only a small portion of the Sun's radiation is in the visible spectrum. It is entirely possible that something could block our view of the sun yet still allow the passage of infrared radiation. So, even with no visible light reaching us the IR would would keep the earth warm. I'm not convinced that this is what will happen, but I do try to keep an open mind.

What Don Alejandro is talking about right here is a phenomenon that occurs every 5,125 years approximately, something that has been tracked over and over throughought time. The information and the calendars were passed down through civilizations, Olmec, Aztec, and so on. How can somebody from the 21st century come along and say "Youre wrong" ? It makes no sense. They've proven the accuracy of the calendar to the nth degree so it only makes sense to trust them about the larger cycles.

well he just made that up, because mayans came up with that, well its in muslim bible to..2012.. so how did it end up all around the world. when there was no transportation to tell others, easily people allllllllllllll knew about it.. that guy works there at the park of maya for torrists and gets paid to show people around. he is not aloud to tell people the truth, i know this because i know that man and hes a no body. someone interviewed him to lie about it. so ppl dont get scared.

@HumanZoo22 when you watch tv, do you believe everythin they say? even the so called news, are they always without agenda? somehow, i get a feeling that this man believes what hes saying. from what i hear about the mayan calendar, how the 5th sun is ending and another sun is starting and no one knows what it really means. this makes sense. if people really believe that the calendar is the most accurate in the world, then perhaps research should be done on when and if we go dark for 60hours.

What if is not Jupiter,? what about the planet of the crossing/Nibiru also known as planet X to Astronomers? I don't know there is a lot of people talking about it. and remember Pluto was not discovered until 1930 so what great discoveries are still out there for humanity to find.
