Classic! Darts was the first album I ever owned and played it to death. Had a scratch at the at the end of Daddy Cool, I remember and what were the other tracks?.. this one, Sh boom Life could be a dream.. Stay away from them girls.. Sometime Lately, Come back my love and A medley.. Riot in Cell Block Number Nine.. Not bad from a memory of 34 years ago. .. Actually I'm sure I still have the album somewhere... Happy Happy Days!
Got To Be The Best Doo-Wop Band Of It's Day...I Need Serial No Of The Lable, For This Song...Anyone Know It??And Which Lable..I Did Have The Tape At One Time, But Unfortunately Got Lost...
if you like doowop and the like Den Haggerty is still on the go with a band called the Metrotones, fantastic stuff check 'em out here on the tube. Dave Tonner the lead singer is my girlfiends brother, top vocals
absolutely love these guys..they came along just after showaddywaddy, who i was big fan of,but i always felt darts were the better band as i love all the old doo-wop too.now im 44 and mainly into heavy metal but thanks to youtube i can now and again re-visit my childhood listening to these guys with the biggest dumb grin on my face!!
I remember a whole crowd of us messing around in class singing darts songs...classic....since been emulated by the likes of the baseballs and the overtones.
Born is 1967, Darts were the first band I fell in love with at the ripe old age of 10 years.
I heard this first on Amazing Darts and fell in love with the song. There isn't a bad song from them which today in unique. I am now 43 years young and still have all their old vinyl LP's.
Why can't music be so beautiful as it was back then?
