I was on the train returning home from work and it was approaching dusk. I switched on my ipod and I played this song.I began to reflect on my life and all that was to come in the future. One of the most memorable and unique moments in recent memory.
We move everywhere with our controls. When I press and hold "w", I move forward. Btw, if you're a gamer, it means you have friends. Chances are, you bought a specific console or game because all your friends were getting it. Don't match wits with a gamer, they'll make a fool out of you... n00b.
@judybob123 You're a dumbass, just because someone is a gamer doesn't mean they don't have a life. I'm a PC gamer, i still enjoy walking in the mountains and camping in the woodlands. How about you take a nice 3 hour trip away from that garden of yours and actually experience nature OUTSIDE your backyard, sweetheart. Believe me, northern New York is a HELL of alot prettier than your garden.
Oh, man. This is just so...wow. I can't help but think of Thandie Newton's character and the expression she has after Matt Dillon's character violates her in front of her husband. This captures the utter tension we have between each other and how we refuse to address it for the sake of confrontation.
At first I was thinking the Police was a Dick untill, he was trying to get help for his sick dad and the Black Skinned Nurse was being a Bitch (for her reasons' Just watch the movie!!
I think i should just point out that this not at all the music from the 'crash scene' where the police officer rescues her from the flipped car. The actual music you will not be able to get unless you rip it from the actual movie. But the song, and as close as you will get is called 'sense of touch.'
I love this movie and am only saying this because I am writing an Analysis on the film score.
I love how you form an opinion about every single character while watching the movie and then BAAAAM! the character does something that totally changes your opinion.
I love that there aren't any stereotypes.
I love how the movie shows that you're more than the first view reveals.
I like how the film shows how the cop's racist opinion was formed over a life time, its the systems fault on how we few one another,..a huge portion of it anyway... there are harsh truths in every characters' story that all of us face in reality every day.I also like how they showed many viewpoints and how everyone effects everyone and everything.
@SarethZhukov314 Thank you, the distinction between the meanings of the words racist and prejudice need attention in this nation...not everyone is racist, BUT EVERYONE is prejudice at one point or another in their lifetime.
I usually don't cry or tear up; but for this was, I teared up a little. The girl hugging her dad (part) was pretty unbelievable; she survived. He saves the women from the car explosion; that sad, "don't touch me." The ending where he is shot because of what ever happened; made me tear up, for whatever the reason is,(they don't say) is good... All of those best parts of the movie (my opinion) made me tear up or think about; how.... (i can't explain it tho...)
I put this film right up there with my favourites like American Beauty, Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption... watched it for the first time last night and I agree the rescue scene is so powerful
its a true american film..the best i have seen after mystic river..such wonderful portrayal of complex emotions and the way these people are linked.excellent story , wonderful cast and touching music by Mark Isham.
Wow, when I put this down a year ago I didn't expect 140 likes! I was just speakin out, and now I'm 16 almost 17 and this still has poignancy with me. I'd like to add Green Mile as on a par with this for the connection you get with the characters, Tom Hanks acting and the emotion it envokes just like CRASH.
And now I'm off to watch this amazing film one more time.
At First When I Was Watching It I Was Like What Is This ! Lame, I Didnt See It For Weeks. I Came Across It One Day And I Loved It! It Left Me Speechless, People Think Im Wierd But I Dont Care I Love This So Much, I Want To Meet MArk Isham One Day ! Anyways Very Emotional and speechless. This should be #1 On OSCARS And Any Other Movie, I Give It A 10-10!
@92taczer I think you mean "American HISTORY (not factory) X" and if that is what you mean, it is a fantastic movie. One of Edward Nortons best roles.

Of all the YouTube comments I have read, this is the most positive I have ever seen. Keep it up. There is too much bashing on YouTube. Now... I must watch this film.
this is top 5 the best movie i have ever watched in my life....the reason it is so captivating b/c these are ordinary people in normal daily life situations-in the same neighborhood....most of the time, if you think about it, this is exactly how things playout in life........
I'd have to say the part where the little girl jumps in front of the bullet was probably the most moving thing I have ever seen. Just how everything seems so perfect and the way everyone reacts to it was so horrifying yet beautiful. No way to describe it.
i really love this movie. the scene where he rescues her from the car just blew my mind. it's the defintion of irony. bawled my eyes out......just shows you when it comes down to it, people are capable of some pretty shitty things but we are also capable of doing things just like in that scene, putting everything aside and saving someones life.
I need to say something. I have seen many bad reviews for this movie, and i just want to point out that it's bullshit. This movie is in my top 10, if not in my top 3. (Matrix being number 1 :P)
Anyway, this movie does a great job of portraying how every single one of us can have hateful feelings toward another race.....but at the same time, it shows that we are all human beings, and we are all on this ride together. No matter what race, or color, we're stuck on this rock. Together.
@DigitalAquarius What I love even more is how much it can make you switch from deep disgust to love for a caracter in a second (thinking about the car crash scene with Matt Dillon), It shows people, with their good and bad, objectivelly, just human beings, as you said. For once, in a movie, there s no bad guys or good guys, just people...
haha score one for music history!! does anyone know where the lyrics and song actually came from? haha, writen in the year 1150, the composer named Hildegard of Bingen wrote this song, O Rubor Sanguinis. This antiphon was dedicated to St. Ursula, a British princess from the fourth or fifth century. Apparently she was on a pilgrimage to Rome accompanied by 11,000 other virgins (believed to be a little exaggerated). Returning home, they were massacred by pagan Huns outside Cologne.
the scene were he rescues er from the crash and she starts SCREAMING for him to not touch her " no..no..NO anyone but you..dont touch me!!!" such a moving and emotional scene....superb film
@avatarfan22122 : yeah, it's the scene I like the most in this firm, even though he had done something really bad for her, but when her life is in danger, he tries his best to save her
People, they'll both angel and evil , good and bad, light and dark.. inside , no one is completely dark or light
WOW! That moment was unbelievable! with the music and all, i can't even find the words to describe how powerful and emotional it was...so sad. I've been trying to ind the clip on youtube for so long...
Neo11111 is right, it's called "lost souls" and it's also the soundtrack of the PC game : Rome Total War...when you loose a battle the begining of this songs starts to play, great movie

@JimmyJones tell me More about these movie you talk about i wanna get more movies Like this i Just looked at a couple of trailers you mentions and i Like em got more ?? if so inbox me them :P
@Dandaman0808 ok. I like your words and every thing, but take out the age. No one cares about how old you are, I see so many damn kids fucking saying that. Like people are gonna give them a reward or some shit. Yes, "CRASH to this day is the most incredibile film I have ever watched, so deeply meant such superb acting and not too far from the truth." Great words. Screw the "I say that as a 15 yr old"
@Dandaman0808 no offense, but i keep seeing this "and i say that as..." does it really matter what age you are? I'm sure not all teenagers adore soulless crap, why point it out? Just curious
@fergie123able The amount of times adults will treat a teen like a toddler, haha. I've seen it, and I try to stop it (I'm old ;) ) Teens are respectable, especially those with taste enough to like a movie like this.
After four years, film CRASH,still a wonderful film with it's romantic music. Every body must watch that film.....aklis1985 thank u for creating such a ground.....if u could send me DVD of crash it would be good....
one of the few movies i didnt want to end... captured me from the first scene... the pure definition of what i love in a movie...was it a movie?... or did this all happen...
I was looking everywhere for this song. Yeah finally FOund it =D. I think it was played in 24 season 6 episode 4 and it was played in the miniseries revelations.

felixd103 1 year ago 2
@felixd103 Its not racism, its fear. Thats the idea of this movie, not racism.
Semperfi1221 1 year ago
@felixd103 that's so great that you realize the barriers we create in the world at such a young age

@Dandaman0808 wow, dude. You need to expand your DVD collection then. There's Schindler’s List, Mississippi Burning, Romper Stomper and so on.

Screw the "I say that as a 15 yr old"
bignuts4555 1 year ago
@Dandaman0808 no offense, but i keep seeing this "and i say that as..." does it really matter what age you are? I'm sure not all teenagers adore soulless crap, why point it out? Just curious
fergie123able 11 months ago
@fergie123able The amount of times adults will treat a teen like a toddler, haha. I've seen it, and I try to stop it (I'm old ;) ) Teens are respectable, especially those with taste enough to like a movie like this.
