So, I got an Ukulele just reasonly. But i can't really figure out, why it gets out of tune really quickly, like in a few mins, so i have have to tune all the time..

It's really annoying, so I was just wondering whether it's normal, or if there is something wrong? :)

@Thedark008 your strings have to adjust/break in.

ive been playing uke for over a year now. it happens with new strings, they stretch out as you play them which is why you have to tune more frequently when you ahve a new uke. or, also, some ukes (as with guitars) are more prone to dropping out of tune, depending on the quality of the uke/guitar. (i have an old student acoustic that my sister plays, it constantly drops out of tune and i've had it for years. )

a C#m on a ukulele is actually barre the 4th fret and put your 3rd finger on the 6th fret on the Gstring (so basically 6444)

1-2-0-0 means: 1st string: 1st thread

2nd string; 2nd thread, 3rd string, no thread, 4th string, no thread

so if you say 4-3-1-2 for example, it means:

1st string; 4th thread, 2nd string; 3rd thread, ... ...

do you understand ? i think it really easy to use this method !
