I haven't ridden in almost 20 years(got into a bad accident) and found this on here. I'm overwhelmed with memories. I'm sitting here naming all the tricks, cherry picker, Miami Hopper. God I wish this was on DVD.
This is the true story of the 1982 Vans legend Crazy Lacy. A small town North Carolina boy who moved to Downey calif in 1971He started Super Style II BMX freestyle team. The SS II team was the first cross over team to ride for vans. Look him up on youtube. HE STILL RIDES!!!
This is my favorite movie, next to BeatStreet (they go hand n hand on my fav. scale) First time I ever saw this movie, I can remember a whole lotta scabs following, awesome movie, they really don't makem like this anymore
The original freestylers were in the opening: Fiola (also as a double stunt for the main caharacter), Wilkerson, Aparijo, Osborn, Sigur, Dominguez, the whole childhood heroes. Good moments: 1st ever backflip, and the steep Helltrack drop in start gate.
holy shit i didnt know so many ppl knew this movie. im like the only one in my town sides my brother that loves it or has even seen it. i was wayy young. probably 6-10. they need a dvd. p.s.: i have this song downloaded, and thunder in your heart (i think that ones played during helltrack!)
I remember watching this with my best friend, when I must have been 13 or 14. Went outside right after too, and started jumping curbs. Now at 32, I'm an avid mountain biker. Only you can make it right!
Thumbs up for rat tail hairstyles! HAHA! I know I rocked mine! Let my girlfriend braid it sometimes.

said about bill allen/crue:Although not a professional BMX rider, he was good enough in "Rad" to fool nearly anyone familiar with the sport.

Yep, up the neighborhood street at our friend Jason's house. His dad had a big screen TV in the garage. Electric feeling.
