Nice idea, but this already exists. Home automation companies, for instance like DuoTecno, can do anything. It works on iPhone and Android.

You can remotely open your fence, check every room with cams, close your curtains, make coffee, turn the a/c on or off...

You just need some equipment, e.g. smoke detector, download the specific app from the app store and your ready to go...

I don't really understand why you would need the fire alarm on your iPhone. You can't hear the fire alarm from your bedroom? I can hear my friggin neighbors fire alarm.

Nice video, well done. Not too sure about the practicality of the idea though.

One small point, at 17 seconds in you wrote that you were asleep at 02:58 pm. That is close to 3 in the afternoon, do you really mean you were asleep in the afternoon or did you mean to type AM?

OMG, if Apple were to integrate fire alarm into iphones, people will be asking for car alarms, burglar alarms, terrorist alarm, cheating spouse alarm!...etc etc, well u get the idea.

If u want those extra things, just create your own apps, its not that difficult.

END the trend of typing words out in videos. It makes videos 3x as long as they need to be. There's no point to the typing sounds either, it's goofy. This should have been a 1 minute video tops. Good idea though, but no need for the "eye candy" BS.
