5:HP, great laptops but full of junkware

4:Lenovo, they make you look cool and geeky

3: Dell, decent quality and design

2: Apple, decent quality, design,software and support

1: Alienware, Lights, power, alien logo,decent quality,parts,software and support

What about HP? Acer is pretty good, Sony is always good at laptops, Alienware kicks ass, and I would get a Pentium Dual Core in a laptop, and if affordable, a Core 2 Duo or Core i3.

@zoulkyud No what? Laptops aren't upgradable anyway like desktops. Maybe the ram and that's it, replacing a GPU or CPU in a laptop is hard as hell.

All of those companies make garbage laptops. If you like paying for overpriced garbage go sony or HP. When your laptop fails let me know.

@zoulkyud WTF are you talking about? HP and Sony are great quality brands. They make excellent products. Great outside shells and I've always found there stuff to be cheaper than shopping at bestbuy or an electronic store. Yeah, custom builds are cheaper, but I'm not in for that, I want a company that's going to offer a warranty to back up a product that I buy.

No we are talking about laptops. Hp is a multiple offender. yeah you can get a nice warranty but I have seen hps fail too often. Sorry but HP is the company I trust the least. Sony is alright, but forget hp.

@zoulkyud I wouldn't want a laptop anyway, laptop parts suck and are less powerful than a desktop PC, no upgrading, why the fuck would I want that? Never looked at HP laptops anyway, I rarely if ever look at laptops at bestbuy or anyway, so I can't even say much about laptops.
