Would work well with a revolver. Used to practice quick draw with wax loads. Just take a block of parafin wax and press it down on a primed lightly charged case.
Interesting idea. Can't wait to see how this works. I wonder if glue residue will build up in the barrel and what the primer will do to the projectile? Should be interesting!
@OneMansSanctuary Thanks for watching! Glue residue in the barrel will come off with a couple strokes of nylon brush soaked in WD40. Really, it is that simple.
Also, rolling the "gluelits" in some kind of oil before inserting them in the casing will help both keep the casing and the bore clean.
Primers will do basically nothing more than blacken the butt end of the "gluelit". Perfectly reusable after every shot.

@45bloo Sure it would. Been done for decades.
Hot glue though is just a bit more solid and easy to deal with,
plus it's resuable.
