Hi!

I think then your hair must be really tiny naturally curled, almost how blacks hair does, then I think it could be possible and nobody can tell, if it fits you. I think a good comb twist-style could also fit you, why not.

Do you get any flaking with any of your products? I just had mine coiled by a loctitician with Organic Root Stimulator lock and twist gel and she used hairspray afterwards and put under dryer. I've got major flaking.

What products can I use to avoid the flaking?

Is too much of the product being used to cause the flaking?

@lefthand987654321 Yes, many people (men and women) use comb twists as starter locs. There's no set time for how hair locs, but one thing is for sure...your hair will not be fully locked in the matter of a few months. It's a commitment that you MUST be patient with. You should look on YouTube for some ideas, and watch loc journey videos (they are EXTREMELY helpful). If you do that, you'll more than enough info on locs and the journey it takes for them to actually fully loc. Best of luck!

if you have really thick(nappyx99) hair it can lock in 2 months or less.

with softer hair textures it will probably be maybe 6 months to a year.

with your standard kinky black hair i would say on average 3 - 8 months.

most of the time around 5 or 6 months.

@jaseaka depending on hair texture it can take 6-8 to lock ur u have tighly coiled hair if u have a softer texture probably a year and if ur hair is straight it will take 3 years to lock

Let me clarify my question b/c you do show how to make the horizontal part in the beginning. I am trying to figure out how after the first triangle is created, you continue the pattern throughout the entire head. Do you continue to make diagonal parts following the first one made in the back of the head and then carry that to the front?
