@DJOHMAGA I already have been doing looping for a few weeks now i just needed some pointers. Lol the funny thing is that a keyboard and pads really is my setup. I have an axiom 61 and occasionally i use a nanopad but i generally like to just use one controller at a time.
@DJOHMAGA Do u have any tips for live looping? Things I can do to keep me busy I dont look like im just listening to my laptop lol. I want to perform at school and for some reason im super self concious of how busy i am on stage so i often just screw with fx knobs to look interesting :p
@gumdrops27 Mobius, Gibson Echo Plex Digital Pro or Boss RC 50 are good places to start for loopers. It depends on what works for your setup. Mine is computer based so Mobius makes the most sense for me because it's software based. Live I would start with a set of pads and a midi keyboard, then practice a lot!!!! Twisting knobs and grooving is cool too. I think if your busy making music your alright... Just let it all out you never know what it might give back....
I love seeing the pads get some love. Not enough people actually "play" their tracks. You should check the new keyboard workstation line from the designer of the MiKo and NeKo. There's 64 pads to trigger samples, sequences and notes! You can even lock the pads into a musical key so there's no worry of ever hitting a wrong note. Check out the videos on our channel. Oh and BTW, I love the hand played vibrato.
@BaliYaaah I've been really behind on making new tracks. I've been busy with all my other musical projects! I hope to start uploading new music soon! Thank you for your comment.
Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that Open Labs is still producing the finest workstations anywhere, with the best support of any company in the business.

R u listening to a metronome or something? How r u keeping the echoe delays on beat so well when ur using mobius?
gumdrops27 6 months ago
@gumdrops27 No... I'm just playing live to the delay using it as my metronome. I all about feeling the music and let it flow...
