She does, on certain posts and pictures. Not always, but many blogs aren't a two-way street: it's a place for her outlook. If you want to take issue with something she's written, e-mail her. Politely, not the "I'm going to anonymously be a dick because I can" posts, which is probably why she limits them in the first place.

I have been reading Dooce for a long time. I remember when I found it, I spent hours, maybe days catching up on old posts so that I was up to speed on her life. I remember when Leta was a infant. This concept "mommy blogging" (for the record, I HATE that term) is like a wonderful unedited reality show played out in words and it is so enjoyable. I look forward to reading Dooce and following her life and the life of her fmaily for many more years. Thank you for welcoming us into your lives.

i seriously love this chick. i wish she was my best friend. she's so funny and just flat out fabulous. not to mention i am totally jealous she can make such a great living from blogging! that'd be my perfect job! lol. anyone who says she's exploiting her family for her own financial benefit is stupid in not seeing that it's that money that is supporting them so well and they're just jealous that they can't make such a great living from doing something they love too. Heather rocks. People who hate her clearly have a problem within themselves. As a mother of two who doesn't fit very well into mommy groups, etc., I completely identify with her. This video gets a fuller, more balanced view of who she is as opposed to the Today show, which was lame. Thanks, Heather. You totally rock.
