i love this tune does anyone have the chords for it? i can make our G major 7 something idont know whats its called and then a c major then minor... would be great if someone could help me thanks guys !
this has to be one of the classiest performances Ive ever seen.. and to imagine that Nirvana was the biggest hit at this time is kind of mind boggling.. where have all the appropriately appreciative minds gone? music can be beautiful..
@smayorga7 He is right, though. Nirvana really are equally amazing, just musically lightyears apart. In fact, musically so far apart that any comparison of their music is impossible. But Nirvana were as good at what they did as these guys are at what they do.
No tabs for this song. I tried to search the web for almost three hours and there is (almost) no mention about this song. You have to learn it by your ear. Good luck.
no, i've been working on the solos by listening a lot and by using the scales and arpeggios I knew... It probably takes more time than using transcriptions but I like the process of finding the notes almost one by one =)
but for jazz/be-bop themes, I've got a friend who plays trumpet and that brings the partitions with him at my home, I've never been able to "read" music but I ask him what the notes are and it works =)
Actually, I enjoy Metal and rock and roll just as much as Gypsy jazz. :D I get laughed at a lot when i go to the guitar center shops and play Django in a room filled with metal guitar players >.>
Brazilian music is AWESOME!

I actualy think is his 504 selmer macaferri, but the sides don't look like rosewood... I don't know for shure...

What brand of gypsy guitar does Stochelo play?
ArkRed1 2 years ago
I think it is a 1940's era Selmer, but I am not certain of that. I have no doubt Stochello could make any guitar sound good!
mistermud 2 years ago
It seems to be basically like a Macaferri, but if you say it's a Selmer, I will trust in you
OscarPetersonFan 2 years ago
guys, ist a favino and therefore not the same shape or size as a selmer or macaferri

that's not the kind of music you learn by reading notes man, use your ear ! =)
Lousticdrummer 3 years ago
correct, this music comes from the soul like most jazz, reading it is a sin...however tabs are ok now and then if you are really stuck.

lousticdrummer, do you play jazz manouche?

Great performance. But it is not from North sea jazz festival. It is from concert in Haague in 1992.
