  • Brazilian music is AWESOME!

  • i love this tune does anyone have the chords for it? i can make our G major 7 something idont know whats its called and then a c major then minor... would be great if someone could help me thanks guys !

  • Man, how 90's can those suites get? ha Great show though

  • mmmhh buena musica!!!!!

  • this has to be one of the classiest performances Ive ever seen.. and to imagine that Nirvana was the biggest hit at this time is kind of mind boggling.. where have all the appropriately appreciative minds gone? music can be beautiful..

  • @jigawhen nirvana are equally amazing :P sorry guys.. but its true!

  • @Reubenman false

  • @Reubenman wow bro... u should really try expanding those narrow horizons. sorry but that is true!

  • @smayorga7 He is right, though. Nirvana really are equally amazing, just musically lightyears apart. In fact, musically so far apart that any comparison of their music is impossible. But Nirvana were as good at what they did as these guys are at what they do.

  • cool suits...

love this arrangement, glad to see this on youtube.

  • Сильно,ебать,копать,аж мурашки по шкуре,знач клёвав.Ставлю 5!

  • This is a rare video, we get to hear Nous'che match Stochelo perfectly at 2:10!!!!!

  • Does anyone know what kind of guitar stochelo uses?

  • Comment removed

  • It's a beautifull 60' Favino guitar, probably short scale lenght...

  • It's a beautifull 60' Favino guitar, probably short scale lenght..

  • I actualy think is his 504 selmer macaferri, but the sides don't look like rosewood... I don't know for shure...

  • What brand of gypsy guitar does Stochelo play?

  • I think it is a 1940's era Selmer, but I am not certain of that. I have no doubt Stochello could make any guitar sound good!

  • It seems to be basically like a Macaferri, but if you say it's a Selmer, I will trust in you

  • guys, ist a favino and therefore not the same shape or size as a selmer or macaferri

  • Sorry, I didn't know it. Thanks for the info!

  • talent van de bovenste plank, thanks rosenberg brothers. jbd

  • Metal ? Django... Common, Let me talk to your mother...

  • It is also called Evocacao de Jacob on Rosenberg´s CD The Collection.

  • tabs please?

  • No tabs for this song. I tried to search the web for almost three hours and there is (almost) no mention about this song. You have to learn it by your ear. Good luck.

  • that's not the kind of music you learn by reading notes man, use your ear ! =)

  • correct, this music comes from the soul like most jazz, reading it is a sin...however tabs are ok now and then if you are really stuck.

  • lousticdrummer, do you play jazz manouche?

  • yes I do =)

  • have you ever studied a manouche solo or theme from a transcription?

  • no, i've been working on the solos by listening a lot and by using the scales and arpeggios I knew... It probably takes more time than using transcriptions but I like the process of finding the notes almost one by one =)

but for jazz/be-bop themes, I've got a friend who plays trumpet and that brings the partitions with him at my home, I've never been able to "read" music but I ask him what the notes are and it works =)

(sorry for my english, I'm from france ^^)

  • Thanks for this video! Great tune!

  • good very good

  • guitar solo at 1:17. just beautiful.

  • Stochelo # 1

  • i find Stochello a better player than bireli : ) Well thats just me xD

  • I agree, better tone and tremolo technique

  • brilliant, five stars, anybody know where the tab is for this one?

  • Great performance. But it is not from North sea jazz festival. It is from concert in Haague in 1992.

  • Nice costumes! I love that touch of gipsy elegance :-)

  • jajajaja... BUENÍSIMO!

  • Amazing , As always Rosenberg trio , Best guitar player in the world in my opninion , Hope they will come to belgium soon again , Liberchis !

  • 2nd best in my opinion :D

  • bireli number one? in my opinion.

  • That he is. Regarded by the best as the best. :D

  • i thought i was the only gypsy in here, ha ha. is manouche your favourite music?

  • Actually, I enjoy Metal and rock and roll just as much as Gypsy jazz. :D I get laughed at a lot when i go to the guitar center shops and play Django in a room filled with metal guitar players >.>

  • great playing by arguably the best

  • Magnificat!!! grrrr pikeys!
