As kids back in the early 70s, we used the Piccadilly Line in the Hounslow area. Mostly the trains were the silver 1958 stock, with occasionally red 1938 stock. Sometimes they would mix & match them. A bit of red and a bit of silver...We always headed for the silver train - DoH!!!
Time to dust off your cameras.. next outing is on 29th June on the Northern Line 3 round trips from Morden to High Barnet & back. My ticket arrived yesterday :0)
wonderful machines the 1938 stock, oozes plenty of art deco , and everything a tube train should look and sound like , i prefer the old L.T chime whistle tone though
