  • @KlEvErDiKk Hes a charlatan huckster in the truest form. That piece of shit stole money donated to the church, used it to fund a bullshit, moronic project, rather than actually helping people with it, then avoided taxes and stole half a mil for himself. He is a thief, a liar, and a complete piece of shit. His son, true to the apple metaphor, didn't fall far from the tree. You need to wake the fuck up.

  • Would the maker of this video please get a real job instead of bashing on other people's faith? What did he ever do to you. I think you're in love with him

  • @CombatAthletix1 What does he, his mornic father, and quite a few others do to us? They try to destroy the education of our children.

  • @RPBrenchley You and others have been destroyed by the evolution lies by the system that into satanic cults. You better wake up.

  • @87jason5772 Look up the word fact. Evolution is a fact. The Theory of Evolution is the best scientific explanation of the facts. Look up the meaning of a scientific theory. Educate yourself, your comment shows your education level is very low at the moment.

  • @RPBrenchley LAMO THERE IS NO EVIDENCE FOR EVOLUTION. IF YOU HAVE IT PROVE IT LAMO!!!... liek it say to others if you want truth check out my page.

  • @87jason5772 Oh dear, you do seem so keen to exhibit your ignorance. Enter "evidence for evolution" into any search engine.

  • @RPBrenchley I actually suggest you to go to my page and learn something.

  • @87jason5772 You claim "There is no evidence for evolution." I've told you to educate yourself, because you show your lack of education when you made that claim. Why would I want to go to a page run by such a poorly educated person as you?

  • @RPBrenchley You dotn know a damn thing about me. LAMO!...

  • @87jason5772 you sound easily just like those conspirators. 911 is orchestrated by the government! Check out my page for evidence! We never landed on the moon, check out my page! HIV doesn't cause AIDS, check out my page! Read and learn the truth!! LMAO...

  • @Casshyr ‎"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds" ~Albert Einstein . Your lack of knowledge and wisdom destroys you. Illuminati, Freemasonry, Zionists, The Vatican. What the fuck you know about them? If noting then be quite because your only making your self look stupid on youtube. Youll never know the truth becasue you never really searched for it! lamo...

  • @87jason5772 You quote from Einstein, but guess what? Einstein is not a creationist. Nor does he accept the idea of personal God. He is a deist at best, with a strong mix of agnosticism. I bet if he were alive today, he would be calling you a mediocre mind!

  • @Casshyr You shure about that, You would know what he would still believe right now if he was still alive? Thats just speculation. How about this, I challagne you to learn somethign form my page... and lets continue this conversation in a respectable manner the best we can yes? But youtube is not relay built for talking likea forum page :/

  • @87jason5772 This goes back to my original issue: by telling me to go look at ur page, how is that any different from a person who tells me "go look at my page, the evidence that government is behind 911 is there!" Pardon my 'stubbornness' and 'narrow-mindedness' if I put my trust instead on the mainstream scientists. I may be wrong, but statistically and historically speaking, putting trust in the mainstream scientists have been right more than wrong. Mathematically, it's simply the safer bet!

  • @Casshyr How will you ever know if you never search? lamo! ... Use your brain man! Don't be such a stubborn ass. lol!

  • @87jason5772 Oh I will, don't worry. I'm simply saying in the end, i'll still just put my trust in mainstream community because that has historically been shown to be the safer bet.

  • On page 293 of "Roget's 21st Century Thesaurus in Dictionary Form," Edited by the Princeton Language Institute, Barbara Ann Kipfer, Ph.D., Head Lexicographer (1993) ...we find the synonyms for: FAITH : acceptance, allegiance, assent, assurance, belief, certainty, certitude, confidence, constancy, conviction, credence, credit, credulity, dependence, faithfulness, fealty, fidelity, hope, loyalty, reliance, stock, store, sureness, surety, troth, truth, truthfulness

  • @TheManWithTVEyes I would point our that a thesaurus entry does not just contain synonyms.

  • IT'S A METAPHOR.

  • Little confused. If man is made in the image of God, wouldn't we be planet sized? If earth is is footstool, then thats a very big set of legs......

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • Hey you probably get this alot.....But what is the name and artist of the song in the intro?

  • Earth is his footstool? Glad God thinks so highly of his wonderous creation, we're just a tool for him to step on.

  • wow this is stupid. do you really think God meant Earth is his actual footstool? God is saying something known as a "metaphor" for how big heaven is compared to the earth, not to any other planet.

  • This is always laughable.

When atheists make these videos there is usually more ad hominem than refutation.

This is what we call 'smearing'.

Just more propaganda from the goose stepping anti-theists. That's all this is.

  • @knowwaie It's theists that care about "who" says the message more than the content of the message. Enjoy a taste of your own medicine.

  • Typical, liberal, smear tactics.

You have no intention of honest debate because you view your opponents as less than human (Sieg heil?). So all you psychopaths create a barrage of hate videos comparable to something out of George Orwell's book. two minutes and twenty six seconds of pure hatred.

You love it don't you? Hate feels good doesn't it?.. You're a psychopath.

  • @knowwaie well done projecting.

  • Good job having nothing to say. No surprise.

  • @knowwaie Cute. making a baseless attack and then expecting a defence. If you don't attack something that exists, why would you expect it to be defended? Go research the strawman fallacy.

  • I don't understand the statement "It's theists that care about "who" says the message more than the content of the message". Explain this to me.

  • @knowwaie I meant, no matter how disagreeable the character of someone telling the truth, it's still true and vice versa. I've noticed the majority of theists (in my experience) will believe something said by someone with conviction, without fact checking.

This lack of scepticism and scientific literacy sadly leaves them more open to scams and other deceits than the average person.

  • First of all, i defend everyone. I even defend you against some of these IDiots who honestly think God guided evolution. Atheists are at least logical in this case.

I may not agree with Eric Hovind but i wont attack him. Not to mention this video clearly intended for young children.

Secondly, you said 'trusting someones conviction'. I think this has more to do with empathy, and it is also very true of atheists, who actually repeat it saying "It is proven", as if your conviction proves it.

  • @knowwaie Yeah I agree that this video takes the complete wrong approach, but it doesn't change the fact that everything that comes out of Kent/Eric Hovind's mouth is close to mentally retarded.

  • Comment removed

  • I haven't watched any of his videos but this one. And i don't see anything in here that you could call retarded by the standard that this video was intended.

Why don't you go attack Barney, or Dr. Seuss? Whatever you do, just leave the children alone, please.

  • @knowwaie And I quote, "No wonder God says heaven is my throne and Earth is my foot stool." Completely retarded.

  • This video is only character assassination and smear tactics. These atheist psychopaths know nothing but hatred.

But how 'retarded' is the statement? Maybe the problem is your own retardation. You realize that the statement is not meant to be taken literally, as if they are an actual throne and footstool? The truth is that you are the retarded person this case. Not only retarded but sick. You're all deranged psychotics who hate your fellow man, even though, according to you, we're all animals.

  • @knowwaie Fact: Humans are animals and classed as mammals. The statement I quoted is retarded because he is attempting to base a point on jibberish ancient texts that have most likely been misinterpreted. Intentionally or otherwise. What makes you think that I and atheists are psychopaths, sick and hate others? Where the hell have you pulled that nonsense from? That isn't even slightly logical. You say I'm retarded? You should think before you say retarded thinks buddeh.

  • By now you should learn how i intended the word "animal". Humans are part of the animal kingdom, it's true. Or in other words the natural world.

You know, for someone who is supposed to be smart you're having a difficult time interpreting even modern language, and my use of the word 'animal' in accordance with YOUR OWN INTERPRETATION OF THE WORD. Which demonstrates your point about "misinterpretation". Not to mention proving my point about the atheist psychosis.

Do you really want to continue?

  • @knowwaie Plus you still haven't told me why you believe all athiests to be "deranged psychotics", "sick" and how you think we "hate our fellow man". You also haven't shown me any evidence for this assumption, and do you know why that is? I'll just tell you now because you won't be rational enough to work it out without diverting from the point (again). It's because THERE IS NO EVIDENCE. You have nothing to base this on except from the fact that you're a hate filled person yourself. :)

  • @knowwaie Quote: "according to you, we're all animals" Two points, first of all I NEVER stated this, you asumed it was my position. Sendondly, you didn't go on to elaborate your exact meaning so I gave you a simple fact.

"Psychosis means abnormal condition of the mind, and is a generic psychiatric term for a mental state often described as involving a "loss of contact with reality". - Loss of contact with reality, such as believing a magical man in the sky created a vast universe in 6 days.

  • You know nothing. That is why i'm warning you about arguing with me. I know what reality is, and your theoretical world is not the real world. Explosions can create our vast universe accidentally 'in theory'. Isn't that right?

The word 'psyche' actually means soul by derivation from Greek. In your psychosis you believe that words mean whatever you want them to mean. But in the real world, words have meanings of their own.

Again, are you sure you want to continue this discussion? I'll ruin you

  • @knowwaie Another comment full of stupidity and ignorance. Also I won't be replying after this because I can't debate with people with a low IQ. Your statements are poorly structured and barely make any relative sense, and you STILL AVOID MY QUESTION. "Why do you think atheists are psychotic?"

You've also made a typical RETARDED theist assumption. The explosion that you are referring to I'm guessing is the Big Bang. This was NOT an accident but a simple act of cause and effect. Moron.

  • Hah, you continuously demonstrate my point. It's amazing. You're asking me why i think atheists are psychotic and i keep showing your by your own words. But because of the psychosis you're not able to understand it, so you call it "poorly constructed". No, it is your brain that is poorly constructed.

Oh, so the entire history of theological writings were also a product of natural cause and effect weren't they? I didn't invent this 'man in the sky' did i? By your own logic evolution made us. duh

  • @knowwaie You are completely braindead, and now you are blocked. Fuck off and spout out your completel nonsense jibberish to somebody else you pathetic excuse for a human. Also, try reading some books you imbecile. :)

  • Retard.

  • @knowwaie As a last note, looking at your profile page tells me everything I need to know. A hell of a lot of people seem to think the same as me and realise that you are an incredibly stupid person. I suppose we must all be wrong though? If a large amount of intelligent people view you as being stupid, there must be reason for it. Get it through your thick skull you halfwitt. Have a nice day, and please go read some books! :)

  • How does it make any difference what people think of me?.. So you're saying any person who large amounts of people disagree with is wrong? Brilliant logic you're using.

Do you even have a brain in your head? You're clearly either mentally handicapped, or are just proving my point about being nothing but a hateful anti-theist psychopath.

Congratulations on being another perfect example of the psychosis. Learn how to think on your own instead of being a drone.

  • @knowwaie Mahaha, you fucking hypocrite. Just read some of the bullshit you're coming out with. You're making statement after statement based purely on assumpion and you STILL can't prove to me how atheists are psychotic. Get a grip you silly fuck.

  • @knowwaie Also, saying " theoretical world is not the real world" is compeltely braindead because I see the world for what it is. Hence, reality. Believing in a devine creator WITHOUT ANY proof whatsoever could be seen as losing contact with reality in a broader sense. Lastly, stating that "The word 'psyche' actually means soul by derivation from Greek" has nothing to do with, or doesn't prove why you think atheists are psychotics. You are either a pathetic troll, or extremely stupid. Goodbye.

  • Just another no education creationist trying to gain some popularity. Surprised he could take time out from visiting dad in jail.

  • I think Hovind's stuff is ridiculous, but this video is just petty.

  • By foot stool God meant that the Earth is like a pile of dog sh!t he stepped in. As true today, as when it was written.

  • i support dr. hovind, he is the best scientist ever lived...he is persecuted because he reveals the truth...and your angry because you are guilty.

  • @edelbert76 He is not even a scientist or a doctor. He is a lying con man

  • @edelbert76 He is not even a scientist or a doctor. He is a lying con man

  • @edelbert76 LOLOL silly!

  • @edelbert76 More accurately, he was prosecuted for evading taxes

  • @edelbert76 TROLL

  • @edelbert76 trolololo

  • We must be god's toliet... It seems that when he comes to use us we get shit on somehow... Job is what happens on god's chilli night.

  • @montrealwatcher It's funny how you never really hear Creationists talk like this. Doesn't that in itself prove some kind of point?

  • Wait....Jackson Hole? HOLY FUCK I'VE BEEN THERE!

  • How big is big? I just knew my penis wouldn't be featured in this video.

  • I'm all for bashing stupid creationists . . . but this video is dumb. It just makes us look bad. It's pure ad hom - - as, aside from the footstool comment, he didn't say anything ridiculous. And that footstool comment was nothing compared with what creationists often say.

  • ah yes typical attack the messenger because you got nothin on the message !!

  • PLUTO!!!!!!! GODDAMN SCIENTISTS! HOW DARE YOU TAKE PLUTO!

  • @Tomtaylorross They found it motherfucker. It's not yours, so shut the fuck up.

  • @AnathemaEX I'm pretty sure the scientist's that named it a dwarf did not find it you uneducated cunt.

  • @Tomtaylorross yeah whatever, just complain about everything and die. Uneducated my ass. If you can explain to me right now how you can apply discrete and computational geometry to everyday life, I might start considering you as an educated cunt, and not some fag crying "Oh my god....they took pluto...why???" My point is, Mr. fucking pedantic, It doesn't matter who found it. The scientific community found it, and you obviously do not belong in the field of astrophysics so quit being a bitch.

  • @AnathemaEX Damn homie, you mad?

  • Do you lack basic comprehension skills or do you just realize you have been defeated and are now trying a different argument? I'm asking you specifically, in cases of natural disasters where millions of innocent people die, which has ZERO to do with "stubbornly reject/ignore Him" do you think that god is just in doing this? Also, by your illogical reasoning, god made us, gave us the ability to not accept him, and now punishes us for it, along with countless others as collateral damage.

  • THAT'S FUCKED UP WHAT THEY DID TO PLUTO

  • I have yet to meet or see a creationist that hasn't lied and won't lie to further their argument about creationism over natural beginnings and development. I really don't understand how the sheep can't see this.

  • The science vs creationism debate was over long ago. Creationists have yet to find any evidence to support their bizarre ideas.

  • Wow, all you can do is insult because you can't debate.

  • Can everyone admit though that cosmic, chemical, stellar (planetary), organic and macro evolution is religious doodoo? It is garbage. I have been in several different debates and every time I have asked an evolutionist to show me proof of evolution...every time, they say....go to Wikipedia or Youtube. If they wont believe the Bible because it was written by man....then why would they believe what they read on the internet?

  • @Peanut3381 They are probably pointing you to YouTube and Wikipedia because you are not informed enough on the theory of of evolution for them to say anything meaningful to you. The very fact that you ask for 'proof' of evolution betrayes your ignorance on the topic. It's very time-consuming and exhausting dealing with such ridiculous questions from an adult presumably capable of thinking for themself and doing a little research. If a child asked I would entertain the question, but not an adult.

  • At the end I thought he said " visit us at creation myth dot com". Which, I suppose, would have been a more accurate description of what they actually believe.

  • Just this vid alone gives him more credit than you intended. You have NOTHING valid to discredit him. Tax evation--come on! So what. Do you even understand half the tax code!? That "conviction" doesn't cause him to magically loose evidence or knowledge. Tell me how many crimes have YOU commited; but just haven't been caught yet? Oh, and the lawful (note the word) deffinition of a crime involves injury to another. Who has Dr. Hovind injured? He's NOT a criminal.

  • Universal response to all Creation Minutes: Derp.

  • That is pretty much the only argument atheists have. Name calling. Pathetic.

  • Let me get this right, Eric Hovind is showing the size of planets and stars to those who don't know yet or have no idea how big they are, and he is stupid for doing this?

  • Anyone reading this, who is sick and tired, and fed up with this evangelism 'science' BULLSHIT, flag every single video you see as fraud. Kent, the spokes person of their entire faith, is convicted of fraud, not just telling a little lie here and there, but multi million dollar fraud and tax evasion. So, flag every evangelism video you see as fraud. Get this disgrace of the internet and out of society. It is an embarassment to our civilisation.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Can't refute the scientific evidence, so you attack the messenger? Can you admit that you don't like the idea of a god telling you what to do if it disagrees with what you feel like doing?

  • @Falkon85 the so called evidence you are talking about HAS BEEN DISPROVED IN FEDERAL COURT!!!!! HE IS CONVICTED OF FRAUUUUDDDDDD THAT MEANS HE WAS LIEING!!!!!!! HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU STILL BELEIVE HIM? you must be some special kind of retard. seriously your stupidity astounds me.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 He didn't pay taxes. That doesn't change the evidence he presented that shows biblical creation to be scientifically valid and supported. Yell at me all you want, but that will not change the science, any more than yelling at you would prove my point one way or another. Or your insults. As I have said to others, get over the emotional bias and talk science. Do you really have no foundation but emotion? I'll pray for you. God loves you, despite your hate for Him.

  • @Falkon85 and i WILL admit that. I DO NOT like the idea of some imaginary person who can defy the laws of physics and walk on clouds telling me how to live my life. For that very reason, that it is MY life. Not some none existant beings life. If this so called 'god' wants to have my life he better be prepared to fight tooth hair and nail for it, cause i sure as hell will NOT give it up without a fight. And i definately will not pledge my time effort and money to somthing that doesnt even exist.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Defy the laws of physics? He made them, so of course He can alter them as needed in any situation. So, what if Jesus not only loves you, but knows you because he custom-made you to be the person you are, and He knows what will make you the happiest and wants to give it to you? Would you fight against the best gift you could ever receive? A greater love than anyone on this planet could ever give you? Clench your fists if you want, but you're not helping yourself.

  • @Falkon85 accualy the laws of physics were written by men. and they were written WELL after the coming of your so called god. so no he did NOT write the laws of physics. 2 Explain this to me. IF (and thats a BIG fucking if) god created me and designed me exactly the way i am, why did he make me hate him and why did he make me an atheist? this argument is now over. Simply by me being willing to argue with you gives your side of the arguement credibility which i will not give to you as your idea

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 The laws of physics were written down by men when they figured out what the laws were. Those laws were not created by men, big difference. They have been there since the beginning.

He created you, but the one main thing God will not do is make choices for you. Choose to accept or reject Him, up to you, but either choice has consequences. That's why the Bible talks about love, because love cannot be forced. That's why there is free will, instead of us being robots.

  • @Falkon85

"That's why the Bible talks about love, because love cannot be forced"

Love me or I'll TORTURE YOU IN HELL! But no force.

  • @Remembermylai It is still a decision, and both options have consequences. You are not forced to love God, or accept His love, but you are made aware of the consequences of denying it.

  • @Falkon85

Yep, you can love me or I'll burn you to death with a blow torch. I'm just warning you about the consequences of not loving me. That's just how loving I am!

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Also, free will is at best an illusion, according to evolution. If you trust that, you accept that you are at the whim of your pre-programmed instincts and desires. So, would the conscience just be a symptom of society when we want to act according to our 'evolutionary' instincts of survival, procreation and pleasure? Or do you know deep down that those things are right within the right context, and wrong outside of them?

  • @Falkon85 you are wrong. on all acounts. in every way possible. and i refuse to debate with you on the grounds that you are a moron.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Name calling as your defense? It's disappointing to see a discussion turn emotional like that. Is that really the best you can come up with, or are you just out of options? Best wishes to you, friend. I'll pray for God to bless you abundantly.

  • i dont want to be blessed, i would consider that a curse. having a never ending ever present ever watching taskmaster who will never die and will never leave you alone and constantly demands gratification and your worship of him. it would be like having the worlds worst nightmare of a parent but for eternity, that would truly be hell.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Perspective and perception. You have bought one of the lies. You reject God because what the world offers appears more appealing, yet you ignore the void within your own soul that only God can fill. Everything else is fleeting. A relationship with God is more like having the ultimate Father and best friend helping you and protecting you from what they know will hurt you. Instead, you are of no threat whatsoever to the Evil one so he helps you. Yeah, you've bought it.

  • @Falkon85 OK i dont think i want a "ultimate father and best friend" who i cant see or talk to, who doesnt help me in any observable or confirmed way, who i have absoloutely zero evidence of his existance, who lies and contradicts himself, who has murdered millions of people and who makes false promises, no thanks buddy, i would NEVER want that. (but mainly because he doesnt exist)

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Who doesn't help you in any observable way? As one example, how do you account for the strong and weak nuclear force being the exact value they are? If they were any different, none of us would be here, yet it's consistent across the universe. We rely on that for experiments to produce consistent results yesterday, today and tomorrow. What maintains those forces?

  • @Falkon85 your being VERY vague. There are literally HUNDREDS of different nuclear forces that effect our plant, which specific two are you referring to? name them please.

The miracle and unlikely hood of our existence is a wondrous and beautiful thing, it is so amazingly unlikely, that i think explaining it with "god did it" lowers and diminishes the marvel of life. Life is far more beautiful and incredible on its own without some imaginary friend or supernatural force behind it.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 You say life is beautiful on its own. This is true. I think it makes it even better to think that God created it specifically for us to enjoy interaction with it. The personal touch of love. Like with Adam, God didn't create him because He was lonely. Like parents who have fun teaching their children and watching them grow, God loves having relationship with us.

  • @Falkon85 so which nuclear forces exactly are you talking about, you still havent answered my question... 1. IF god created the world specifically for us, why are there sooooo many things within it that kill or harm us? riddle me that riddler. 2. So what? god just sat around for eternity then one day decided to create the universe? then one day the universe ends and he sits around for all of eternity afterwards? do you even listen to your self? Know god? No peace..... No god? Know peace.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 I meant the forces that hold every atom together. One example among many. The Bible accounts for them, saying that God holds everything together. How do you account for those forces staying the strength they are? What maintains all the constants so the experiments produce consistent results yesterday, today, and tomorrow? The validity of scientific experimentation rests on that.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Those things are there to keep us in check. Your pride is the problem. When left on our own, we rebel. If everything were perfect, your automatic conclusion would probably be, as it is already, "I have what I want, I don't need God". Instead, we see a grand, powerful universe, and there are aspects of it we must respect or else accept the consequences if we do not. That is a reflection of the character of God.

  • @Falkon85 You still haven't named the nuclear forces you are talking about.... you are going to have to be more specific with your argument. But if god truly is a loving and benevolant god as you beleive him to be, how can he do so much evil? I would like to quote a very famous man, in my next comment as it will not all fit in a single comment space,

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 The strong and weak nuclear forces, which are responsible for the quarks, protons, and neutrons in the atom's nucleus maintaining the structure they have. This includes the weak gauge bosons and the gluon, whose respective masses and range of influence are responsible for maintaining said structure. Specific enough?

  • @Falkon85 congratulations, you can use wikipedia. Want a medal? Even so, how does observing rhe strength of nuclear forces provide evidence for god? Thats like say "trees are green, if they werent green they couldnt photosynthesis. There for god exists." that is not a valid conclusion

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 You requested more specific. If you don't want it, don't ask for it..

I asked how you account for those constants being maintained at the strengths they are. Do you have a relevant answer?

  • @Falkon85 The reason atoms behave the way they do, is because if they did not, the universe/chemistry/physics and all that we know would not be the way it is. You are observing the reason somthing is the way it is(THIS IS NOTHING SPECIAL), its like saying a flower is red because it reflects wave lengths withing the red spectrum of light, THEREFORE GOD EXISTS!... CANT YOU SEE THAT THAT MAKES NO SENSE???

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 "because if they did not...all that we know would not be the way it is". You're saying atoms like having us around, so maintain their structure so the universe can be this way? You disagree with a claim you say I made but didn't, then make it yourself. You're kidding, right?

Always saying random stuff. Would a direct answer be that hard, or can you just not admit you don't know?

PAY ATTENTION. My question is: what maintains those forces the way they are?

  • @Falkon85 “Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?

    Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing?

    Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing?

    Then whence cometh evil?

Is he neither able nor willing?

Then why call him God?” - Epicurus.

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 He is both able and willing. However, you fail to account for freedom of choice. God wants a relationship with you based on love, and in His effort to show you that, He will do anything short of literally forcing you. He did not make us to be robots. So, would I be correct in assuming you have a double standard? You probably want freedom of choice, yet you condemn evil when it is the direct result of that freedom when one chooses to reject God? Person's fault, not God's.

  • @Falkon85 obviously when freedom of will conflicts with the well being of others, you forfeit your right to free will. its called responsibility and common sense you fucktard. Do you prefer gods methods of explaining what is right and wrong? Bullying and terrorising his subjects into submission to his will? through fear and threats? "DO AS I SAY OR YOU WILL BURN IN HELL FOR ALL OF TIME !!!" what kind of kind loving god uses the same persuasion tactics as a school yard bully?

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 You misrepresent the position. Jesus specifically said that he who accepts Him will not be judged, but he who rejects Him is judged already. We already deserve judgement, and accepting His love grants forgiveness. He wants to bless us, but WE get in the way. With how stubborn you are, how much will God have to rock your world to get your attention? YOUR fault for your choice in that, not His. You talk of responsibility when you refuse to accept your own?

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Satan can be equated with a school yard bully. God, however, more resembles a father. He loves when His children strive to do their best for Him, but is also capable of correcting them when they get out of line or do something stupid.

Or would you prefer a god who lets you do anything you want to? Should He let you do things that He knows will only hurt you, even though you want it NOW? Should He never interfere, yet get blamed for people getting what they deserve?

  • @Falkon85 but according to you, he created us this way, he DESIGNED us the way we are? He has a "divine plan" for each and everyone of us?? Therefore is he not punishing us for somthing he has made us do? design man, knowing he will be evil, then punish man for being evil, how is that fair? the logic of religion is so full of holes you could use it as a colinder

  • @milkwasabadchoice131 Where in the Bible does it say must do evil? The way you talk about it, it's as if we do not have a choice in the matter. God knew man would CHOOSE evil. It is still man who makes the choice. It comes back to choice and responsibility, which you are ignoring. Knowing what a person will do is different than making the decision for them.

Adam was told ONE rule, and the consequences of breaking it. And he broke it anyway. Like we do every day.

  • @Falkon85 What absolute bullshit. I can't imagine you could honestly say you believe the nonsense you just wrote. So if I accept your premise that god is real (which I don't), you admit that he made us imperfect and is punishing us for his faulty work. Makes sense eh? Secondly, god allows evil so we can grow closer to him?! What the fuck is wrong with you? How about the fact that THOUSANDS of children die everyday from hunger and disease. Who is growing stronger from that?

  • @mmeasy123 First: God is not punishing us for faulty work on His part. You, like so many others, are ognoring the aspect of CHOICE. If you KNOW someone will choose something, does that mean you're making them do it?

Second: Starving children are a challenge to fight for, which is why I donate money to help them. Helping others is fulfilling in itself. If no one ever needed help, would it ever be given?

  • @Falkon85 Again, absolute nonsense. You are admitting then that god made us imperfect and is now punishing us for not abiding by his standards. "Choice" aside, how do you account for natural disasters that that have killed millions over the years? What is gods logic behind that?

Starving children are a challenge to fight for? Why allow such pain and suffering at all? God lets countless children suffer and starve so YOU can have a sense of fulfillment? How can you be serious?

  • @mmeasy123 God made us to be good, and we have responded by rejecting Him. Pain and suffering exist because we have rebelled. Your view, like many others, is man-centered. You ask "How could a loving God let these things happen?", as if people reject God by accident and they are not actually responsible for their choices.

How about God's perspective. I ask you this: how can a just God allow unjust people to enter Heaven and still have it be perfect?

  • @Falkon85 First off, I don't accept that god exists or has made us in the first place and you have provided ZERO evidence to convince me otherwise. You are now focusing on free will issues and turning away from god. I'm asking you (again) how do you come to terms with the fact that earthquakes, tsunamis, and other natural disasters claim millions of lives. These aren't man made choices. Please explain why a benevolent god would allow this to happen.

  • @mmeasy123 I believe there are two main reasons. First, it displays God's power and shows that we aren't as in control as we pridefully want to think. Second, I think it helps open the door for sharing the love of Jesus with people who wouldn't have been open to it otherwise. Sometimes we need our world completely shaken before we realize we need Him. God's strength is seen in our weakness, when we would fail on our own and must depend on Him.

  • @Falkon85 It baffles me how any logical person could believe that. So your god needs to flex his muscles every once and a while and kill millions of innocent people to show just how much we "need" him? I wonder if you would feel that way if you lost your family due to some disaster. Explain why we "need" this evil god so much and why he must kill millions every so often to show us how much we need him. Seems like an asshole dictator.

  • @mmeasy123 God has many options for how to display it, that's one of them. We are not promised tomorrow, so people who say they will care someday in the future but not now are taking a serious risk.

This human body will die. The 'how' is not as important as what's after that. If you're looking forward to Heaven, death isn't bad at all. If you're not, then of course death can be terrifying.

  • @Falkon85 You just went off on a tangent that has nothing to do with what I said. Wouldn't you agree then that if this "god" needs to flex his authority every so often and kill millions of innocent people that would make him an absolute asshole? If you don't please provide a logical reason why you don't think so.

  • @mmeasy123 If He were an absolute jerk, we would not even be allowed the freedom of choice in the firs place. If we refused to accept His will, we would probably be condemned/destroyed instantly. However, we are given grace and mercy through many times of making mistakes. He strengthens and lifts up those who honestly strive to love and trust Him. Doesn't sound like a jerk to me. Especially when many others so stubbornly reject Him, despite the love He offers.

  • @mmeasy123 Tell me, if you take time and effort to create something special to you or accomplish something important to you, it has meaning to you. If someone trashes that or says you don't deserve something you put the effort in to get, it's messed up, right? Yet if God made the universe and each of us, and we stubbornly reject/ignore Him, is that NOT messed up? That's a double standard I see many people do. Do you?

It wasn't a random tangent, it's background. With that said, who's innocent?

  • @mmeasy123 There are times when He allows things to happen to us that are painful at the time, but He has a good purpose in the end. The only way we can know He can carry us through most difficult of times is if He does it. How do you know the guy at the gym can bench press what he claims he can, unless you see him do it? Or that your best friend will stick with you in tough times, unless they do it? It depends on the situation, there are many possible reasons.

  • @Falkon85 So PLEASE tell me what the purpose of killing millions of innocent people is? Are you admitting the purpose is that god can flex his authority to us every once and a while?

  • @mmeasy123 Yeah, see the holocaust was okay because lots of jews got to go to heaven. Isn't that a good thing? That was his plan all along. The allies were bad for stopping so many people from going to heaven (that was sarcasm). Falkon you are a retard (that wasn't).

  • @biggingeryeti God allows evil so that good people people have a cause to fight for, a challenge to depend on Him to get through. Some of those Jews came to know God's love as He supported them through it and gave them strength and peace in their heart.

Tell me, does going to the gym help build your strength if you don't keep increasing the amount of resistance? Your limit must be pushed for you to get stronger, right? Same with your heart and mind. No challenge, no growth.

  • @Falkon85 What about people who have mental breakdowns? Did god just push them too far? Besides, god already knows every decision I am going to make anyway so I don't have any free will. He already knows whether or not I'm going to hell and he still decides to create me and the human race knowing that billions are going to be tortured for all eternity.

  • @biggingeryeti Perhaps they did not give their troubles to Him as they should. Perhaps they resisted something He was trying to do and made it hurt more than it needed to. There's many possibilities, it depends on the person and situation. God still seeks restoration, though.

If God knows what you will do, does that mean He's making you do it? If He provides many opportunities for you to know Him and you deny all of them, is that His fault?

  • @Falkon85 Yes it does. If the outcome is already known to the person who created me then it is impossible for me to make a choice. That is how free will works.

  • @biggingeryeti You are confusing the concept. You make your own choice, you are not being forced either way. God is aware of what you will do, and He can sit back and watch you do it, but that does not dictate your choice.

If you know everything there is to know about two teams in a game, and you know which one will win, is that making the choice for them? Or just being aware? How does your personal knowledge change or force their outcome?

  • @Falkon85 Don't be ridiculous. It is not possible for me to know every outcome of even a single insect let alone two teams. If I did I would be a very rich gambler. I'll say it again. If the outcome is already known then it is impossible to make a choice. Even if I think I am making a choice, I am not. It is already decided. A done deal. That is how free will works. It is also the reason why science can't be 100% on anything.

  • @biggingeryeti Semantics. Circumstances can push you towards one choice or another, but you still make the choice by your own free will. The knowledge of another does not make the choice for you. Does watching a movie several times and knowing what each character will do and when make YOU force those choices? That would be ridiculous, right? God having that knowledge is different than Him reaching into you and making you do something as if you're on remote control.

  • @Falkon85 People in movies don't make choices. And it is far from semantics, it is the definition of free will. Again; if the outcome is known, even if it isn't known to the participant, then they CAN NOT make a choice, even if they think that they are. It's impossible. If it were possible then they could choose x instead of y and god would be wrong. But as that, in your definition of god is not possible then they would have to choose x. If they have to choose x, it isn't a choice.

  • @mmeasy123 First, you have not defined "innocent". Second, yes, that's a possible reason. We proud human beings sometimes need reminders that we're not really in charge. However, your choice of words implies that's the only reason, which isn't true.

  • @Falkon85 I really don't see how any logical person can believe the bullshit you just wrote. So your god is all powerful, yet he must kill millions of innocent people (you don;t know what innocent means?!) to show us whose boss. Like I said days ago: your god is an asshole. He can't think of a better way of telling us hes here? How do you honestly believe this shit? There are so many holes in your story it's difficult to keep track.

  • @mmeasy123 As I said, you talk as if there are no other options. There are many. Sometimes great victory is brought out of great tragedy. I've had times when my life has been completely turned around and shaken up, and I've learned some very valuable lessons through those experiences. Hurt at the time, and I wouldn't have volunteered for it, but looking back I see I grew from it. Or helping others going through tough times. Pain can really bring people together. Sure did in boot camp.
