I saw them close out CBGB's last show and he was just standing there and it sucked, the rest of the band was tight and killing it and they all had a look on their face as if they wanted to kill him, I did too!! great band, but HR is burned out!

saw the brains last weekend in cologne.loved the band, was really disappointed about HR. He looked like kinda religious/psychocult-guru, was singing with hands in his pockets or with praying hands.he was smiling like as if he thinks that he is the new messiahs,but he wasnt!i dont expext him to jump around like in the early days, but like this i don´t want so see him. the "Rise"- Singer was a lot better on stage and did not look that spaced out.Sorry to say this..

Man, I just came to know yesterday that Bad Brains were gonna play in my hometown Amsterdam in october. I just got hold of a couple of tickets this afternoon but if I would have seen this videos before I would have thought it over twice. It does look to be a bad show. any one who has seen them before though know that HR tends to put all of his energy into the reggae songs and not so much into the punk stuff (or he used to be that way).

Last nights 9/26/07 show at HoB, HR didn't really sing any of the harDCore songs after the first 4 or so. Kinda just spoke them.  Either his voice is no longer up to it, or he prefers the reggae.

The band, however . . .

The band is still isanely tight, and Dr. Know at the top of his game. The solos in Reignition were awesome.
