I think it is time that Oregon, Washington, and California left the union and joined with the world. Pledge=promise, and if you promise you allegiance to something once than that should be the only time you have to do it. Seriously fuck the pledge. It's pointless to say the pledge, it brings about too much controversy with the "under God" in there (which wasn't even in the original pledge) and to me it's annoying to have to say. It's one thing if they suck at doing their job, but whether or not they pledge allegiance is probably the last thing I would worry about. If you HAD to say it, you should only have to say it once. The word "pledge" basically means "to promise" so I would think that unless you committed treason, you haven't broken that promise, so why say it over and over?
