my late dad n brother worked here many years i used to go to sheds all time as a kid . bob n brian hutchinson [tool vans team what a great bunch of lads ] harry -arnie- alax - geordie - russel - tony - and many others . best tool van team in england with some cracking drivers i new them all .
Thanks. We see mainly class 66 and 67("Thunderbirds") these days. Did you know the blocks of houses on the site of Gateshead sheds are named after steam locos that were once shedded there? e.g. Trigo House,Tranquil Court, Bittern Close. Nice! I hope to put more stuff from the 80s/90s up soon. In the meantime check out my "InterCity 125 1989/90"
