  • bondservant007, you sir, are fucking awesome!, it is a good thing to question our belifes, because taht way , we can get to make our faith strongger, always RESPECTING AND ACCEPTING the other people freedom of opinion

  • Really, really bad video. Boring and uneventful.

  • id be the first to admitt that chriastians arnt perfect but its hard and almost none of us live our beliefs and we as men just arnt strong enogh to on our ouwn and that is most christians mistake only with Gods help can we truly live a christian life stile

  • If you follow Jesus and the teachings of God, don't say it, Act it. Rather then attack and commit acts of Violence Love one another, rather then squabble of the things that make us different. Thats My challenge to you. Rather then Defend your thoughts Forgive those that oppose you. As for me, I am not Christian, But The idea of a Lord in my heart states one thing. Stand tall and Shake the heavens

  • Just for my own personal knowledge, because I am a Christian, if Atheist do not believe in Jesus Christ coming to "offer" his life for the entire Earths Sin. Then what do they believe, there has to be an explanation for the Earths existence.

  • Your right, Religion is a fairytale that won't come true. But faith and a personal relationships are so much more deeper then anything that any religion can bring anyone. ANd this the point that this song, and what the posting guy is trying to make.

  • How did Jesus change our system of justice? Did we start punishing innocent people for the crimes of the guilty like he was? Did we decide that slavery was ok, like he did? Did we stop punishing criminals altogether because none of us are without sin so we cant throw the first stone?

Religion is a fairytale and its practice is a cult.

  • @ndyt

    see comment below.

  • @Aphoresis, which one?

  • I think I can take something away from this, somtimes I can talk down at people, and i still think I'm being really nice and civil cos I'm not swearing or anything like that.

Brilliant song, and I love the message you're trying to get through here.

  • shhwanky,

As I've learned to be more civil (from an atheist on youtube) you can learn to be more sensitive as attcking our relationship with Jesus or God is like attacking our Father or Brother. That's when it gets too personal. Peace.

  • shhwanky, I'm glad your insults were not intentional, it makes me feel better about you as a person. As far as you losing friends for being an atheist, I have atheists who are friends. you agree to disagree and move on. There are many more things I have in common with them than we disagree.

There is a huge chiasm we cannot cross but respect does go a long way.

    CONT.

  • shhwanky;

If you would stop ATTACKING and read what lead me to make my remarks you would see it had to do with comments against bondservent who provided us with this video. What is the point of putting her down?? God Bless and quit fooling yourself!

  • I'm not attacking. (at least not intentionally)

You're right. I am glad she put it up. It made me think, and the song is catchy.

There is none, that's why I'm not.

May the chance that allowed our Universe to escape entropy, follow throughout your life.

I fooled myself for my entire 14 year old life. I promise I won't ever again.

  • Yes, but your journey isn't over. My first 22 years of life were a rebellion against my grandmother's Catholicisim, but my last years have been own Christian spirituality. Other people's trips are theirs and our relationship with God must be personal before it can be communal. We don't need religion, but we need God.

  • shhwank; Your last statement when some science has been disproven that makes it more reliable?

the impulse with science to present a complete theory just shows completeness can never be proved. Science is bound by it's own hypotheses and models and they do not allow for any reality beyond their hypotheses or model. When new information does come and that part of science is false or disproven as you say, does not make it more reliable! No, you are wrong!

  • Yes. It means the wrong statements are put away and the truth still stands. It's like making a statue. You cut away the unwanted (wrong statements, ideas).

Actually, they do. Science has theoretical workers, and ones who test the theories in the world and in the lab. They both do a bit of each, but they're still respectably different.

  • this is 1 of my fav 3day songs.

  • Such unhappy people! You'd be a lot happier if you believed in Jesus, accepted Him as your Saviour. Short of that your happiness is short lived. Bondservant007 has given us a gift of serveral video sites to worship our God. It's great you stop by but you don't need to be rude or unpleasant. We Christians visit these sites as well, that can't come as a big surprise to any of you. Let's exist in peace. God Bless

  • So, if you don't believe in a god you can't be happy?

Why would someone who believed that this was their only life waste it being unhappy?

It's great that you're expressing your opinion, but there is no need to extract actual harm from language that can only harm you if you allow it to.

If you want that, then understand that you in no way can prove you're right. Therefore you have no right to shove your idea down children's throats in schools or to reject homo rights.

  • Shhwanky, Jaspu didnt say if you don't believe in a god you can't be happy. Just observed that many SEEMED to be unhappy and perhaps that would change if the focus of their life was not Nero-like self indulgence and instead praised the thankfullness and self-sacrafice of Christianity. Are you so small minded that you dont realize that you are "jamming" your anti-Christian, anti-social, hedonistic lifestyle down young, impressionable people's throats?

  • I see. I misunderstood. Now it's a generalization.

Are you so small-minded and attack-prone that you think I want to shove atheism down children's throat? No. I just don't want religious people who have just as much evidence as the next religion, telling children that there is an invisible man in the sky who will send them to hell if they don't believe in him.

Then they have the audacity to pick and choose from what science they like and don't.

    I'm not anti-religion, anti-social, or hedonist.

  • Shhwanky, perhaps we misunderstand each other.

I thought you were attacking Jaspu for an innocent comment. Were you not? If not, I am sorry.

    Peace

  • Shhwanky,You believe schools shouldnt even acknowledge the possibility of a creator; instead, they MUST teach that a microscopic speck exploded billions of years ago to create the collosal universe including the Earth, regardless whether that theory is provable. Quite a leap of faith, no? Every day, yesterdays "science" is debunked. Thats part of scientific inquiry. But people who arrogantly insist yesterdays science IS fact, and any who dissagree are foolish or audacious well, they look well...

  • No, I don't. I like ideas. I don't like ideas that aren't proven being taught as fact. That's why I wouldn't like the big bang being taught as fact also. While it is a scientific theory and supported by evidence and where other evidence points, it still hasn't been proven to have happened (to my knowledge)

The Big Bang isn't an actual explosion. It's an expansion.

Yes some science is dropped as false when it's been dis-proven. That makes it MORE reliable. Not every bit of it changes.

  • small-minded and attack-prone, not anti-social?

not something I'd greet someone with at a social gathering.

invisible man in the sky who will send you to hell for not believing in him, not anti-religous?

not something I'd say if I respected religion.

taking your pleasure putting down Christianity on a Christian video site, not hedonistic?

I haven't gone to any other site ie country to put down their music or beliefs.

    CONT.

  • Because we're not at one. We're over the internet. I'm doing my part to help the world question and think.

I'm trying to show you the insanity. I'll respect you, I guess I have been quite disrespectful.

I do respect religion. As much as it deserves. Almost everyone in my family and friend groups are religious. The most disrespect is me losing friends because they can't accept it. Which is understandable once I put myself in their shoes.

Not pleasure. I'm trying to help people think.

  • It IS possible to be a "thinker" who accepts Jesus. I think I've lost "friends" because they lose respect for me when they discover my Christianity--not the other way around. I have never rejected a friend for his or her belief and have friends from many different faiths. Unfortunately, it is the atheist and agnostic friend who usually rejects me once his or her image of me as a rational human being is shattered by the discovery of my faith in God the father and Jesus the Lord and Savior.

  • @whiskbizqit lol i can understand your friend on that part of your image of a rational human being being shattered...

Rationality and religion do not go well...

  • @qcenaman

*Sigh* why the heck do little internet pseudo-intellectuals with no life come to Christian MUSIC VIDEOS to debate such matters? They should atleast find a video where Philosophy is being discussed to do that . Or is that they feel that in such a setting they would be outgunned...i think so.

People should be allowed to hear MUSIC in peace.

  • @Aphoresis Simple they want to have a anser, i think that those philosophy video dont get as much view as a religious one. specially one like this that make you stop and read, question yourself.

  • @Aphoresis Why are you here?

  • @whiskbizqit maybe it's the idea of heaven and hell that makes them not want anything to do with you. maybe telling someone that it is your belief that they should burn for all eternity scares them away. the thing is, atheists complain because christians really have no reason to stop talking to someone because they don't believe. atheists DO have a reason to because it is actually based on what you believe, not what you do not.

  • Um.. ive met alot of athiests that try and shove it down my throat and even threaten me, Now guys let Shhwanky belive in what he wants to.. i wanna say something though God isnt a man! hese a being of pure light not a man in the sky. and btw hell is not our fault. it was never intended for us. it was our own fault for rebelling. and how much you bet God crys for every Person Condemed? he trys to save us bu giveing us choices. but humanity in its stuborness. refuses the right choice.

  • You're whole religion is at least supposed to tell EVERYONE they meet. Every atheists I've met has tried reasoning with religious people. Most people try to start critical thinking so that they can improve their life, even if it isn't a religious change.

I thought we were in his image? Are we light?

God knew we would have hell though. Why did we need to be created anyways? If he was perfect, why did he need us. Perfection needs NOTHING.

  • @TheNormaldude33 dude im gonna put it simple, if a idiot created me in way that i can fail so he can "save me", then im gonna blame that idiot for creating a complete failure... Dude if there was a god he would b the biggest fail... creating a failed universe filled with failed creatures that all they do is fail.. If someone builds a wall and it falls just with a bit of wind... im not gonna blame the bricks... i blame the idiot that built it, coz he built it in a way that it would fail..

  • n GAY

  • STOPP1D 3h !

  • According to who, you??? God bless.

  • , and be strong and steadfast in our minds, hearts, bodies, and souls ... along the straight and narrow path.

  • JESUS fell three times on HIS walk to be crucified. HE told us this journey would not be an easy one, but if we where steadfast until the end it would be worth all the hard effort we each made. What were we to do? Follow GOD's laws and commandments, pray to GOD, pray for other's (loved ones, foes, believers, and non-believers alike), and pray for ourselves, follow JESUS' example in all ways, read the scriptures and gospel daily

    CONT.....

  • basically....you're wrong.

  • Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

  • Oh, it looks like there are some unhappy people here because they don't believe in God. Who would have thought? It's too bad. I will pray for them.

  • rAmen.

your god is boring and sucks hairy balls

  • i'd give a thumbs down to bondservant too if i could.

  • I agree, change is necessary for growth.

For instance, I used to be a Christian.

I also used to believe in Santa, the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny.

But then I grew up and put away childish things.

  • yeah this makes no sense and you're fucking gay and stupid kthxbye

  • Damn, Am i glad there is no god.

  • Me too; most of the gods that people believe in are fucking insane. Almost more insane than the people that believe in them.

  • I asked this little 5 yr old who told you that? He said "God". Who knows? I sure didn't tell him. And actually he was pretty specific when I asked him "when did God tell you this?" My little then 5 yr old said "not at this house, at the old house." He's already decided he wants a harley and to ride for Jesus. He is truly Gods gracious gift to our family.

  • And a child shall lead them..

  • You are so very right! They're alot smarter than us in many ways. Thank you for your kind comment, it's appreciated!

    God Bless

  • I have a 6 yr old boy and we are very close. We talk about God and His son Jesus whenever he wants to. This one time when he was 5yrs old he asked me "Do you know why Jesus died on the cross?" I was surprised by his question and was trying to formulate an answer that a 6 yr old would understand easily. He must have gotten impatient with me because he looked at me and said "So we could live". I just stared at him, here this little 5 yr old came up with the perfect answer.

    cont.

  • To all,

I've just been given a gift. I was shown in a relatively short paragraph most of my negative comments made on the different sites. I'd like to apologise for they were not kind and I was not responding as a christian should. My choice of words were hurtful and made in haste and anger. I will from this point on be more aware of how I should respond in the manner set for by Jesus in scripture.

    God bless.

  • I'm a son of a good man

I'm the child of an angel

I'm the brother of a wild one

    And I'm looking for direction

I'm the lover of a beauty

    I'm the father of blessings

    I'm a singer of a love song

But is that all I'm good for

  • This is who I am

    This is who I am

So take me and make me something so much more

    This is who I am

    This is who I am

So change me and make me someone better than before

  • I'm a saint and a sinner

    I'm a lover and a fighter

I'm a true believer, with great desire

I'm a preacher of grace, prophet of love, teacher of truth

I've fallen down so many times

But here I stand in front of you

  • Take me as I am

But please don't leave me that way

'Cause I know that you can make me better than I am today

    Selah :-)

AMEN!!! God loves us just the way we are - and too much to leave us that way!

  • I reckon I got my mind made up that ain't nuthin' fixin' to come betwixt us and God's love.

Death cain't and life cain't. Them there angels and demons cain't.

Stuff we're frettin' 'bout now and all our anxieties 'bout the future, and ever' booger in hell cain't stand in the way a God's love.

Whether we're ridin' in a airplane or divin' at the bottom a the deepest ocean, nuthin' in the universe can come twixt us and God's love that he just up and showed off in King Jesus.

  • Wash yourselves and be clean! Get your sins out of my sight. Give up your evil ways. Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows. Come now, lets settle this, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.

    Read whole chapter.

  • Thank you for His Word. :-)

  • Good to hear from you again! You're awesome. I 'll be reading.

    God Bless

  • Jaspu - You should post your testimony about your 6 year old - Cause that child has huge angels guarding him :-)

  • How would we know happiness if there were no sadness. You know what they say, be careful what you ask for. Sometimes what we want isn't well thought out afterall. I would never hold Jesus responsible for anything bad happening in my life. What He's done already I can never repay Him. I love Him so very much and want to do my very best. I'm a work in progress though. God bless you bondservant you don't know how much I learn from you!!!

  • I love the way God loves me Just As I AM, but He does not leave us that way.

There have been many times in my life when God has dropped me to my knees - crying out for mercy.

Looking back - I was one (or many more) of the people in this video. Only when I repented (Changed my mind, heart, and actions) did God bless me with peace of mind.

We are a work in progress - We are HIS WORKMANSHIP - created in Christ Jesus - for His glory.

    How groovy is that?

  • I think satan happened to them. The sick content of their messages says more to me than mere disappointment.

  • What will be, will be. As Jesus set the example, we are to change those things we can, and accept the things we cannot change.

Another thing to think about is that school will soon start again. YT seems to be taken over by teens :-), mostly good kids, and a few that are not.

Like atheists - some are simply unbelievers, Others have made atheism their vendetta against God, almost religiously.

Others use atheism as a cover for whatever evil deed - with which they excuse themslves.

  • Yes it was the latter I was speaking against. There are some I'm sure that were disappointed because they asked Jesus for something and they feel He didn't deliver. If only they knew how our tears are counted. Being a parent I know how you can't give everything asked for, I know the hard lessons they need to learn on their own. Thank God it's a burnt finger vs. 3rd degree burns or a bump on the noggin for climbing but they don't go on the roof. Life can't be painfree.

    Cont.

  • There was a study done on near death experiences (NDE's) that included atheists. There were 21 categories of experiences. Out of the atheist group alone 75% reported seeing a divine being. It may be a reflection of how a majority of atheist get what they don't expect, a God but get what they need, knowledge of God. Very interesting!

  • Silly atheists - tricks are for kids :-)

Bless all the little pointy heads! lol

Those trolls are giving atheism a bad name. It's a shame. Seriously Jaspu, don't you think that something has just happened in these people's lives that have turned them from God?

I know we must have such a loving Father God, who once looked down on me while I shook my faith fist at Him.

But He never let go of me. :-)

  • God does not believe in athiests, therefore atheists don't exist.

  • 0:21 UNDERSTANDING

I have felt this way my WHOLE LIFE ! ! !

  • Most humans feel the same way ;-) I think we have to look honestly at ourselves.

  • I am not trying to be arrogant, I know that I don't know everything.

I like to know that I am correct in my viewpoint. Not that my opinion is right but that I am seeing the real truth irrelavent of my own opinion.

The people that think they DO have ALL the answers while avoiding any real discussion or data are the ones that bother me.

  • I agree with you, we all have a certain degree of narcisim, myslef included ;-). It is, I think - to a certain degree, that we come from a generation of Information Age - we all want to have knowledge. And so much information is thrown at us, that we are somewhat overwhlemed at how much we think we know ;-)

The older I get, the more I realize just how much I do not know.

Been there, done that, so to speak. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

  • I think the information age has helped us more than we can truely judge. We have increased our lifespans, improved our quality of life, taken us to the moon and sent probes around the solar system.

The benefit has not been spread evenly around the world though. We have to stop the dogmatic pratices that drive the division in our species and work together or we will keep overusing our resources.

Dogmatic pratices will lead to the downfall of our species and a return to the stone age.

  • Good morning ;-)

So this is who we humans are -obviously not perfect - with a need for change.

I think that's what I tried to show in this video. What did you think of it?

  • conflicting messages between the different images makes it inconsistant.

  • Maybe all those conflcting messages show us how inconsistent we all really are ? :-)

LOL - when I stand in the mirror, I see someone who has been all of the above - and then some.

  • Uberlogic - Am I correct in assuming you are atheist?

Do you think this video portrays most Christians as atheists see us - generally ??

Example: Like the one of "Authority" - the guy with his name stamped in gold on his bible makes him - lol - the one who decides what we can believe.

  • I really enjoyed the video but I wish each picture was on longer, some you don't have time to read. thanks for the reminder--We need to constantly be changing to be more like Him.

  • Thanks - Sometimes I catch myself being one of these "motivational" thoughts - and I start singing this song - "Take me as I am, but please don't leave me that way!"

"This is who I am - so change me and make me better than before."

BTW - Thanks for posting The Word on the Holy Is The Lord God Almighty video. It has an average of about 5000 hits a day (Blessed be The Name of the LORD!) and I would much rather have God's thoughts greeting others than those who oppose HIM. Shalom.

  • who is magnaminity? deleted i gather?

  • Magnaminty is one of the "motivational" words used in the graphics in this video. It is derived from the Greek word for Magnus - related to Simon Magnus the magician in the New Testament. Hope that answers your question. Deletions only occur if foul, attacking, or offensive language is used. Non-belief is not grounds for deletion. Jesus hung around with sinners, and so do I ;-).

  • go ahead pet that snake............lol....yeah he Will bite, a snake is slways a snake :) hehe

  • Magnaminity - that wolf (especially the ones in sheperd's clothing) reminds me of that Simon Magnus guy in Acts ... the magician who thinks he's all that. ;-) LOL - I put this as a reply to that The Amazing Atheist guy (his niggots video - arrrrgh) and now it keeps showing up on related videos ... hmmm wouldn't be too bad for this video to show up as related on his video - hehe.

  • Yes, me too lol ;) *hugs*

  • That's awesome.

  • Afrikittty wrote: The underlying truth behind all these witty, yet telling statements is to be found at 1:33

"GO AHEAD. PET HIM. HE WON'T BITE!"

This is why the Lord Jesus, the Apostle Paul, the Lord's brother Jude and the Apostle Peter spoke so much of wolves in sheeps' clothing.

I am so sorry I meant to hit reply and hit remove instead (ooooops - need coffee).
