When installing the body lift I bought extended brake lines, adjustable clutch rod and a longer collapsable steering shaft with yoke. Getting the steering shaft right IS very important when installing a body lift. Also, upgrade your body mount bolts IF you are making your own like I did. Go BIG. I installed the body lift back in 1998 before a variety of kits were available.
It took roughly 17 years off and on of adding and subtracting things. I made a lot of trades for parts and went to swapmeets. Total cost? Who really knows. BUT way more than I could ever sell it for. That's just a reality of any car hobby. You'll never get 100% of what you've put in.
Man thats a beautiful truck. I love broncos and ill hopefully have one once im outta school and have a decent paying job. Youve done a lot of work to it and it looks great!
mikeiam82: yea, i actually made the body lift from urethane bathroom stall partitions. Busted out my 2 inch hole saw!

Flares got trashed being drug across a bolder. no $ to get them replaced. They were old style and shattered.
