no doubt he has an incredible skill to play like this, but it does not sound good. its just noise. im sory but he is not a good musican. the point of playing is to make a great sounding thing.

a couple things...ok if you dont like the sound i like the fact that you recognize that he is overcoming himself, the second thing is that no one has the right to say weather someone is a good musician or not...its stupid, steve vai said once "nobody can say my noise is better than your noise", and for some of us it kind of...does sound good, and its not his best video, there is others where he shows waay more groove than many of the bass players ive seen on youtube

my bass playing has nothing to do with this guy, lol,we play different styles, and in my opinion music is not noise, thats what separates music from noise. but i still honor is ability in his situation. i think its bad ass that hes still playing bass.

Dude, he only has one hand, he's pretty good. Why should he get a stick? It's easier to tap, but it's not his instrument... maybe he loves bass? It'd be pretty "stooooopid" for him to stop playing when he can kick ass on the bass.

Well there has got to be some modification, at least to the string sensitivity. One cannot make a bass sound like the strings are being plucked simply by fingering the neck with out some modification.

the action on lakland basses are really smooth, so i dont think youd need to adjust that particular bass

he sounds like this on any bass he plays!he used to play a 6 string.the only thing he does is put a sock round the neck.he did the same thing with my 87 prs guitar and had sim results-no shit no lie.the guy plays bout 6 hours a day
