You get Celebi most likely via Wi-Fi.

Silver was confirmed as Giovanni's son in the Pokemon Special Manga a few years ago.

What annoys me the most is that it is a Wi-Fi event. Which means I won't be able to obtain it.

No matter, I'm sure there'll be an AR Code to trigger it eventually.

No, you have to bring a special Celebi to Ilex Forest to start it. The Celebi will probably be given away at some event in Japan.

Well, to be fair Silver being Giovanni's kid in the manga has no bearing on his status in the gaes; different universes and all that.

Of course, that doesn't at all mean I didn't think it anyway, and I am super happy about the confirmation in the gameverse as well.
