it's an interesting effort, but it feels appropriate to point out that youtube still only supports 2.0 aac audio, hence, uploading a video with 5.1 audio here just wont differ it from a 2.0 one. i guess you already knew that, although I can't see anyone wrote it in the comment section :)

i muted each cannel but only front had sound

I seriously use up to x12 JBL control 1 for the surround channel and five JBL control 5 for the fronts and 1 JBL 4645 for the LFE.1 and that's only the start of it!

the best choice for you would be a 5.1 system because you have cinema sound, and as you said you don't watch much movies, a 5.1 system isn't very expensive.

Then again, 5.1 are a bit unpracticul for me since my 5.1 card outputs the Rear low, when all settings are high. All i want is 2.1 really.

yes, but you don't have real cinema sound with a 2.1 system, but if you use it for normal tv series or music it's enough to buy a 2.1

@boarderline93 though its a year :P with my setup and THX audigy 2 ZS soundcard i can make 2.1 sound better in my room and more cinematic then everybody else with 5.1 i mean its possible to let 2.1 sound better then 5.1

if you hear much music i would use GOOD 2.1 speakers because you dont use surround for movies. and 5 speakers arent louder than 2 ^^ they are only for the surround sound.

i hope you dont mean like real movies, and some music movies has been mixed in 5.1 surround. and even though the song is NOT mixed in 5.1, then there still comes music out from back and front.

i answared ultimateshadowx9 he said he doesnt watch many movies with his speakers and asked which x.1 soundsystem he sould buy

so i think he should buy 2.1 or 2.0 which is cheaper for him when he want to hear with a good quality

I've got a 7.1 an it works perfectly, the title only means 5.1 is required, 7.1 is even better.
