  • style & class

  • I cant remember my own phone number never mind that many sequences of steps! Wow!

  • Now that's great hoofing! Minimum effort...maximum effect! What great feet! How very cool..... Love a band that swings with the original arrangement too. WOW

  • Superb act, they live in Bedfordshire England now, i have driven them to many functions, you can get a book Living with Legends by Stephen Clark, it tells who were there friends, Sinatra, Joesphine Baker, Sugar Ray Robinson, Elvis, the Beatles and Sammy Davis Junior was their cousin, we were going to a cricket function one day and Steve Clark mwas telling me the story the day he met Al Capone at the Cotton Club, it was after they had danced on stage, the beautifull stories he has told me.

  • Superb - the product of thousands of hours of practice and polish - in other words,

QUALITY - and the same goes for the members of the band....all of 'em

able to read music - unlike those who serve up the hideous, course drivel

that the bingo classes buy into these days. Thank goodness this stuff is on record, Thanks so much.

  • The footage is from Killer Dillers (1948).

  • Amazing talent.

  • Brilliant , nothing more to say

  • this can not learned at any Universitates, this mans have in his blood, this is the best.

  • wow i hope there kids and-or grandkids are so pround of them...

  • These guys are amazing. Love that fact that they mix in some fairly simple movement that just looks cool with the fancy stuff, as opposed to tons of flash and trash.

  • thats entertainment! what we got, "oh yea jedwood" what more can i say?

  • how old is this? I still jam my Nichoals brothers though :)

  • wooo..makes me tired just watching them..

  • I BET it was the afro american that invented tap dance!! And then we just stole it from them, like we always do! :D - They're just soo amazing!! Fred Astaire is nothin 'gainst these two!

  • DOPENESSS!!!

  • Fantastic! Clark Bros, Mills bros, Nicholas bros, Hines bros. All legends. BTW, where all all the good jewish tailors. Damn they could tailor suits/clothes.

  • this is amazing really

  • 4:29 was wicked!!!!!

  • great great traditional tap dance.

  • AWESOME, so smooth! Just met Steve Clarke tonight at the Pigalle Club in London, what a gent, some amazing stories. That cat has worked with everyone!

  • Just experienced that Jimmy has gone to higher level. I was fortunate enogh to witness them both as an act in London 2005 (or so) and they were still doing pretty good. No one were unfortunately able to greet them as security was huge.

    RIP JIMMY.

  • Just listened to an interview with Stephen Clark on London radio. Amazing performers.

  • If only they had a chick in the middle with great legs.

  • Haha, that's exactly what they needed.

  • Man this is sorely lacking today. Remarkable.

  • I've only just heard about Jimmy passing away. My heart goes to Steve.

  • RIP Jimmy.... loving this clip... :D

  • AMAZING clip. I'm better off for having seen this.

  • Sad news. Jimmy Clark of the Clark Brothers passed away today at the age of 86.

  • @talkingfeet Jimmy Clark is my grandad and was the best most polite man i know. It is hard to belive that he is no longer here. :(

    R.I.P Grandad

I Will Never Forget You And You Will Always Be In My Heart

    love you

    xxx

  • they must have spent all day choreagrahing all those steps

  • you can do that...?....awsome...check out my vid of "Paulo Nutini new release pencil full of lead with Al Minns and Leon James dancing"

  • there a stereo version?

  • Groovy

  • i met one of them today, he lives in my town, 85 and still dances. Legend.

  • Are you Kidding ?

  • nope, i'm telling the truth.

  • Where the Hell do you live?...

  • near luton :)

  • I'll come to see you one time...

  • Aren't they just the loveliest guys! We met them a few weeks ago too :-)

  • oh shit....i couldn't keep my eyes off them...i like there crowd pleasers...

  • They were one of the first - Just wonderful - so talented.

  • They were wonderful then and still are now! They certainly don't make entertainers like this anymore. They are true legends :-)

  • The Clark Brothers were not as flamboyant as the Nicolas Brothers, but they were fine hoofers. They were smooth and classy.

  • i saw the heal toe at 2:21 lol, but they are awsome they are reaching up to the nicholas brothers

  • they have a smoother style than the nic bros but its still impressive

  • Lol, after watching the Nicolas Bros these guys seem pretty tame

  • same

  • I saw these guys around three years ago at there final performance before they retired. They were both in there 70s but man could they still dance. Incredible stuff.

  • still ffing good though, your both right

  • you're right, the Nicholas Brothers have the edge on these guys.

watching these brilliant dancers illustrate how good the Nicholas brothers are.

  • This is fun with lots of fancy steps, altho they don't have the style and effortless grace of the Nicholas Brothers...The arm movements are sort of detached esp. on the twin on the left...He's always a teeny beat behind the one on the right. Not like I could do any of this, but...I'm just sayin...
