I read in an interview that Bradley wasn't really happy with how this investigation went, he said he thought it seemed a bit like welsh propaganda because they didn't really find out anything significant, because the legend has ALWAYS centred around the south of England.

Morgana hates King Uther Pendragon. They would NEVER ever be able to be friendly. Never.

Gweneviere is a noble. Not a big deal. So is Lancelot. I hated Lancelot in the book but he's pretty amazing in "Merlin". Kinda a douche in the original. I could rant all day why so.

I always call Prince Arthur, King Arthur because I don't believe he was ever a prince. He was a servant to Sir Kay.

The biggest thing I noticed is that Merlin is really, really old in comparison to Arthur in most stories. Merlin was advisor to King Uther before he became one to Arthur. o.0 Kinda freaked me out when I saw young Colin Morgan playing Merlin and then a prince Arthur popping out into the scene both about the same age.

What they did get right is how Excalibur was made and throwing it in the lake even if it wasn't tossed in by Merlin.

Morgana didn't always hate them. I don't know where you're from, so I don't know if you've seen season 2, but they start exploring why she hates them in that season. They're clearly explaining WHY she hates them.
