@greendiode But on Expert, there's no chance of you getting close enough to do enough damage to shorten its life. It would overtake you in a second and that'd be the end for you. So the only SENSIBLE strategy to deal with a Tank on Expert is to light it up and run far away.
A lot of people on the internet have told me they've got the skills to take on a Tank, on Expert, on fire, alone, up close. Funny how I've yet to meet any in-game. I guess all the awesome FPS players live out west.

I would agree with that, it makes a good "both plan A and plan B" attack.
