I personally prefer the UK Halloween attractions as i find that the overuse of the chainsaw get too repetitive so it doesn't scare people any more. For example, in the Asylum maze at Thorpe Park there is one use of a chainsaw right at the end so that you are frightened by it then chased out by the crazed lunatic. This creates more of an impact and also an amazing ending to the maze! In the end of these mazes you just walk out of the building creating no dramatic impact to remember the maze by!

@hunterhagood i agree that some mazes are better the way that there are no surprises such as this small maze i went on in London and it has more creepy scares and that works well, however i do prefer the jumpy scares. This is just my personal op[inion tho and different people like different things. =]

you go to universal website, and like, 1-4 months ahead of time, they have like job things. You press one, then they give you a date and such, then you audition.

@lildiego111 yes it can get cold, thats why you dress in layers if working in an outdoor haunt. Most of the time, depending on the night (rain or shine) or what mask i was wearing, id be either sweating, or my mask would get drenched in rain. That made it very hard to keep sliding my mask on and off lol.
