月 also means moon, there is a full moon each month thats why they use this. and it's like the "mon" part of monday in japanese, so u can use it as Kanji is very interesting to learn i suggest bying a book to learn it tho.

Tip: It makes it easyer if you learn the numbers first.

Effective, simple. I thought it was a bit too simple at first but then again I already know the numbers. For any first timer it's good to hear the numbers and the sounds slowly and repeatedly so this vid works well.
