i have a Q6600 in combination with a HD4850 but only 2gigs of ram, and runs like CRAP 20fps or so, will it run smoother with 4gigs of ram?

Yes my friend yes it will i had the same problem i had 1 gig of ram and q9950 CPU @ 4.0GHZ 4850 GPU and 2 velociraptors in raid 0 and my fps was 10 LOL but now that i have 4 gigs i get 60-70 fps average.

I had 2 gigs the other day, and I just upgraded to 4 gigs of ddr3 1600, and all the crappy stutter I had is now gone. It's a worthwhile investment.
