Does anyone know why my Empire Total War demo doesn't work? My specs are much higher than the recommended specs. The main menu is just fine, it's just when I go to a battle of any kind everything messes up. I can see the HUD or whatever but the actually battle is just a blob of stretched points (like in fallout when a deathclaw is bugged out but on a MUCH larger scale.) on people and stuff, i can bearly see the grass and I can't see my units at all. I also had this problem with the Shogun 2 demo

A- Not good graphics card

B- Processor was lower than 2.6 Ghz

C- Not enough RAM memory

The game doesnt really suck, your computer couldnt handle the weight of the game. My computer also crashed, processor too weak, it was a 1.6, not a 2.6

it sometimes says it stops but just give it 10minuites and youll notice the progress bar moving so even tho it says it stopped it actually hasnt...well atleast in my experience.

Erm, it never freezes, it takes few time, like 3-4 minutes, depends what kind of army.

That happens to me too.Its cos u hav ure unit graphics settings on low or medium. Bloody game barely runs on my computer so i turn everything to low and i turned off the grass which in my case makes the gamelook nicer and now it runs like rome total war on a high end Vista :O

I was downloading the demo. It was at 5%, then all of a sudden it changed from downloading to updating and went back to 0%. Everytime I get to around 3% it stops, and I have to click it which turns it back to 0%....

the psu in ur comp is a 305watt.. look for a video card that has a 300watt or greater requirement, and the graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 7300 LE . so look for a video card that only needs 300watts but theres really nothing better than that that is 300 watt

Well its on Vista, and it stays on the white screen for about a minute, and then it comes up with a Vista message saying that it can't do it. I've got 2 options to either let it continue, or close. I'll let it continue ansd see what it does.

i have a E510 pentium D and i downloaded the demo, then i start it up works fine then i click to start a battle or toutorial and when it loads it freezes and the load bar shakes back and forth, eventually it stops but it never loads higher again, also i can hear the toutorial starting, and the game playing but all i see is the jacked up load bar and the screen with the quote anyone know how to fix it?
