@NinetiesYouth shitty decade? seriously? this decade has seen an explosion of creative new music. the real glut of shitty music was the late 90s. the early 90s had the excellent "alternative" revolution with the smashing pumpkins, nirvana, alice in chains, janes addiction, and so on. the late 90s was boy bands brittney spears and that's about it. this past decade, largely due to the internet i believe, has seen a creative renaissance of new music imo.

This song brings back some incredibly vivid memories that i had buried real deep. Cold Montreal winter, sad girlfriend, living far off the beaten path. Cold smokes and coffee, cold twilight, staying up all night, drugs and liquor. They aren't exactly pleasurable memories, but they should not be forgotten.
