  • yesterday i attended the 22nd commemoration of 8888...the peaceful uprising turned massacre... held by the ASSOCIATION OF BURMESE STUDENTS SAN FRANCISCO... we had a dharma talk by monks, delicious food, and a symbolic burning of the 2008 sham constitution... i was fortunate enough to play with refugee kids on an american playground... such polite and wonderful children...some new arrivals... it is my dream for these children to go home one day to the KAREN STATE... and invite me over to play
