Don't let the look fool you. While it may look like a toy it is unbelievable powerful. Sonoio released a couple tracks that were exclusively made on the OP-1 and they are absolutely top notch. Give the Teenage Engineering SoundCloud page a listen to see some examples of the flexibility and sound quality of device.

Interesting synth. I like the tilt(?) feature very much - does anyone know of any other synths that have this? Great for expressive moves during performance. Don't like the price very much, it shouldn't cost any more than a standard Iphone or netbook.

Thats pretty much what i did with my korg, now im trying to get at least some type of modular system do put it through. it seems that you can start with one sound, but then hook up a bunch of other devices that tweak and modify the sound in their own way and end up giving you a sound thats awesome though very hard to recreate.

This is'nt just an overpriced Casio, it's a pretty inuative groovebox with loot's of goodies. I pretty hooked with the sweet colorcoded UI and the tape efx.
